Horrible smell

I purchased these flip flops 2 months ago, I love the
comfort of the sandals however they got wet from the rain
a few days ago and now they stink horribly. Is there a
way to get rid of this god awful small? For what I paid
for these I definitely shouldn't be having this happening.
