Wrongful bills happened when i didn't use Toll way

I haven't use Toll way since May 2021. there suppose to be over $20 dollar in my NTTA account. but yesterday I couldn't past airport gate with Toll tag. so I called NTTA today. the agent told me that I only have $5 in my account. so I went to NTTA website to check my account, and I found out there were multiple wrong charges which should never happen.
so I called NTTA again. the lady answered my call told me there're no videos about these charges. only because the Toll tag past. and she refused to do anything.
And there's no online complaint method.
i work from 7;30 am -5:30 pm, I am the only one to use my car. there's no way I could get on any road during my work hours on weekdays except my kid needs to go ER ( which is in my much closer than high/Toll way)

I don't know what to do now.

can anyone please give me some advise? thank you so much. have a great day.

Invalid citation

We have received a 2nd notification for payment on a citation that is clearly not ours!!! Photo on bill is of a chevy trailblazer, which we have never owned! The License plate is YOE380 and says it is for a FORD 1995 060...DO NOT OWN!!! So on top of the fact that the photo and the description to the side DO NOT MATCH, we don't own either of these vehicles. We will NOT be paying this, and someone in a management postition needs to look into this issue!!!

Unjustified Late Charge

I received an invoice for $4.44 from the North Texas Tollway Authority for a legitimate use of their toll way from a trip I took in November 2016. This is all fine. The problem is that I received the invoice via USPS on January 4, 2017 which is the same day the invoice was due as was indicated on the document. I only opened the invoice today (January 5, 2017) and saw that it was already late. I immediately went online to pay it and discovered that the invoice had incurred a $10.00 late fee penalty. I then immediately picked up the phone and called North Texas Tollway Authority at 972-818-6882 and spoke with a representative. The representative insisted that it was not their fault and that they cannot remove the charge unless I wanted a toll tag. I explained that it was not my fault that I received the invoice only yesterday but he refused to adjust the bill. He then again suggested I apply for a toll tag and them my total would be around $2.90 which would remove the "late fee." I asked to speak with his supervisor, was placed on hold and then spoke with the supervisor who again suggested I apply for a toll tag. She said that their records indicate that the invoice was issued and sent out some time ago. The envelope does not have a post mark, rather a "Presorted First Class U.S. Postage PAID QIM" stamp so it is my word against theirs.

My major problem is that I did nothing wrong. Maybe it was North Texas Tollway Authority or the Post Office that delayed shipment of the invoice, but in either case I only received the invoice on the day it was due and that a company like North Texas Tollway Authority should remove a late charge (which by the way is 2.5 times the original toll fee) in a good faith effort to potential customers. Yes, the charge was only $4.44 and "late fee" of $10 so the costs are not all that high, but if these practices are done to everyone then those are serious late charge fees that can be accumulated.

Based on the numerous other rotten reviews of North Texas Tollway Authority I do believe that they have deceptive business practices that need to be looked into.

illegal fees

I spoke to NTAA regarding my 1st notice of nonpayment, I advised them I never received the first notice although my address is correct in their system. They responded we a date they show it left the Post office, the problem here is that it is illegal to charge the fee without verification that I, or you in fact did receive the notice. Simply because the post office shows the notice left the post office that does NOT guarantee it was delivered to my home or yours. I expect and hope the NTAA to be sued, by a class action lawsuit. Keep your road, I'll drive on another from now on. Double dipping Texas citizens. Isnt that what we pay Taxes for , to build roads, but somehow now we have to pay twice?

Sending bills that are not mine with no picture

Sent bill from 5 months past that was not mine. Picture of license plate started with CLR. Mine starts with CLK. When I called they said that they just used the wrong photo, and that their file picture showed the photo of my plate. They never sent picture. They said nobody got bills from that time and they were catching up on billing. I got frustrated and paid to get rid of them, and purchased a toll tag. I thought this would take care of mistakes.

Two weeks ago I received a bill marked second notice (never got first notice) with no license plate photo and listing a plate number that was not mine. I wrote a note on the bill and returned it. Today I got it back with an additional $25 charge on it and a stock form with the box checked that it was mine. Still no photo.

I pay all bills that are valid. I have an appointment for a phone call with NTTA next week, as their phone lines close early. It seems like if they do not know whose bill it is, they just send it to someone. Not right and I should not have to pay a bill with no proof it is mine. I have double paid charges before, and they never did correct.
