I submitted all the necessary documents at the Klerksdorp Department of Labour on the 4/4/2016. My baby was born 17/03/2016. After repeated calls and visits I finally got a sms beginning of June that my application is being processed. I then got no response from the Department of Labour and I phone them on a regular basis where after the only response (that is if I get hold of the relevant person because he almost never answer his phone) is "Still not approved" In July I visited the offices and he told me that my Medical certificate hasn't been scanned and sent through, he said he will ask them to rescan my documents and send it through. To date the documents haven't been sent through... If I call he only replies with "I must do what I see fit but the lady that's suppose to rescan hasn't done it yet" NOW I WONDER will it ever be done??? I had to borrow money during my maternity leave to survive and now it seems that the Department of Labour will not assist me to get what is rightfully mine in order to start paying my debt.

If there is anyone out there willing to do their job please help me.
