In kerala people are using initials with their name. The expansion is not always used. Only initials are their in the certificate like matriculation, degree, PG and up to aadhaar. When we apply for pan card we cannot edit the column “ name you would like it printed on the pan card ”. Automatically the expansion of the initials are coming in the column. The name with expansion of initial does not match with the name in the certificates. You are issuing the pan card with expansion of initials which can’t link to the account number in the bank. Bank authorities require matching name in pan card as well as in aadhaar card. For example the application with acknowledgment number 881032215164636 was sent for the correction of name in the pan card first issued. You sent the same card again without correction. This card is not accepting by the bank authorities. We can sent only the aadhaar copy as proof of name which we like to print on the card. The column is not editable.
This is a general issue facing the people of kerala. Kindly consider our request and allow us to edit the column in para 1 of the application with aadhaar as proof.
