Ocean country child support enforcement failed to properly notify agencies of my husband's arrears being paid and has caused us so much stress as we have a trip planned for our anniversary. We haven't been on vacation in 4 years and when we finally pay off his child support the enforcement agency fails to let passport services know. My husband called them (which is ridiculously set up because you have to leave a message and they are supposed to call you with 48 hours). So he drove down there were he was forced to use a black phone and in front of "criminals" and many other people he was forced to give personal information. No privacy or confidentiality considered. We recorded all calls that he received after going there and each person has a different story. One said the system was down, another said the system showed he's still in arrears, and so on. They cannot get it together. Apologies go a long way but everyone was rude and had no empathy for our situation. I'm disgusted to say the least and we will be owed money if he doesn't get his passport in time. They will be sued for negligence. They need to get it together.
