Hello,
My name is Marion Morgan. I have been eating these yogurts for multiple years. My concern is that in the last six months or so, I have noticed that the aluminum lids are not staying glued to the GLASS jars. It does not matter if it is a single jar, a 4 pack, or an 8 pack; there is always several bottles were the lids are partially or fully loose from the jars.
This product is a dairy product. It can go bad quickly if not properly sealed. These jars sit on grocery store shelves for weeks! I got one yesterday that i had checked the lids and they seemed intact, but when you start to remove the lids, the GLUE is not sealing, so the lid was partially separated from the jar.
I notified Yoplait by mail. They did not seem to understand my complaint. They seemed to think it was ONLY the 8-pack that I was concerned about. Sorry, but the letter seemed like they were just blowing me off. They gave me COUPONS.
I am deeply concerned for people's health and safety. If they don't realize the lid is not sealed and they eat the yogurt. They can become very sick and not know the source. Some of they BEST BUY labels can be for more than a month out. OPEN dairy does not last that long.
Yogurt is a funny product. You can't always know by taste if it has gone bad or is turning. Unfortunately, your digestive system DOES know. IT is the GLUE. It is not sealing prper;y. Either they change the type of glue or are not using enough for ensuing a full seal.
I tried to talk with them today about it, but all they wanted to do was offer me moe coupons!! I fingered ir needs a Watchdog group now to get through to them. Please help!
Sincerely,
Marion Morgan
