forcing and intimidating me to continue with my policy

I have been an outsurance policy holder (car & life) for the past 3 years. I have recently experienced financial difficulty and had to cut down. It was this this reason mainly that I wanted to cancel my car insurance with Outsurance. I called Outsurance cancellation department on Friday, 27 th July in the late afternoon. I initially spoke to Zenith. After explaining to this gentleman my situation, he then indicated to me that he will call me back as the line was not audible...as far as I know he understood every word I said. He then called me back, trying to convince me to maintain my policy with outsurance...I continually explained to him that I WANT TO CANCEL THE POLICY...to my dismay he just continued talking. To my shock he then started getting personal with me, insulting me, telling me that I am a lecturer surely this and that..... I was dumbstruck....I then put the phone down. I called again hoping that I would speak to a different consultant...I was referred to Mpwara ( so it sounded) I provided him with my details and he then explained to me that Zenith has cancelled my policy, but he did make a point to defend his colleague to my surprise. He then too try to convince me not to cancel my policy....at this point I have had enough (not to mention having wasted so much airtime and of my time). The phone when dead....I then called again as I still was not sure if my policy was cancelled. I then after 10 minutes of referals spoke to Lizaan. . She indicated to me that someone else was busy with my policy and that I should hold the line....before she could do this I asked her to please assure me that my policy was cancelled. She assured me that she will call me back. I then received a text msg indicating that my policy will remain active as I did not pick up my phone. A total lie! I then called again. This time it was over an hour already, close to 5 pm...I was so frustrated! Lelutha answered my call...he then explained to me that everyone went home...very irritably...and that I could do what I want to do. I cannot believe that OUTSURANCE staff intimidate, insult , force customers and then confidently take you for a fool....I question to morality,standards and ethics of this company. This is the first time I have experienced this in my life!

I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY, AND I WILL MAKE IT MY MISSION TO TELL OTHERS ABOUT THINKING TWICE TO BE A CUSTOMER. WHEN SPEAKING TO FRIENDS ABOUT THIS THEY CONFIRMED IT...THEY HAD SIMILIAR EXPERIENCES. SURELY THIS MATTER NEED TO BE DEALT WITH.

I NEED MY POLICIES (LIFE INSURANCE & CAR INSURANCE TO BE CANCELLED.

I ALSO WANT TO REPORT A FRAUD- I RECEIVED AN E-MAIL ON THE 18TH OF MAY, CLAIMING FOR A WINDSCREEN ON MY POLICY NOT ME...INCREASING MY PREMIUMS....OT26052397

DECLINED CLAIM

OUTSURANCE decline my claim where someone stole some parts from my workshop, though I have stock cover and theft cover. according to them I do not have dishonesty cover, which was never offered to me and nowhere in my policy schedule there is anything about dishonesty.
this company is very eager to collect my monthly premiums of more than R10,000 but decline my claim when I need them most.
one of their advisors also comment that OUTSURANCE have a "slip up" never offer me dishonesty, but still they decline my claim,
I struggle to get hold of any of the board members from OUTSURANCE, cause I am very positive that they will accept my claim, but now I have to deal wit untrained people.
never ever trust all the good ads you see on TV and all the media regarding OUTSURANCE.

Ek kan nie verstaan nie outsurance is so groot maar dat hulle nerens n email adres op enige site het nie kan ek nie glo nie. Ek is sommer lus en kans my goed. Sukkel al oor n maand om hulle un die hande te kry

Increased premium without my consent

I just noticed outsurance increased my premium without my consent. This is disappointing and I am thinking of cancelling right away.

Personal

I have been trying to cancel my policy with outsurance but these consultants are hard to crack,they are basically forcing you and they don't even care to hear the reason...honestly i am fed up i am going to involve my lawyer because this is ridiculous forcing customers stay with them!!!
I have my reasons of cancelling and its been over two months now since august...we get ignored and forced so now i am going to take it further. SO PLEASE HELP SORT THAT OUT!

Outsurance cancellation

Tried to phone Outsurance to cancel my policy.
They don't listen.
They keep on talking. Forever.
They get rude.
If I ever have to talk to those guys ever again its too soon.
