Fraud
This is an additional complaint about Packmail on Alpine Avenue Grand Rapids Michigan. I read the owners lengthly inaccurate response. First of all the sale tag attached to the chairs was offered to my customer not Packmail. He cannot barter with me about declared or replacement value. He is not a dealer and I wager knows absolutely nothing about the Antique business! More importantly all of his vailed excuses favor Him not his well paying customer. He did not make any effort to return my merchandise or retrieve my other chair. I am providing pictures of the type of French chairs for replacement value and my chairs

Rude owner
I dropped off two prepaid UPS parcels. I took pictures of the parcels and the display with the store name, Pak mail. The owner of the store confronted me and told me that I couldn't take pictures inside his store and insisted to see the pictures that I took. I show him the pictures and there was no one face in it. He didn't even apologized. There were no signs in the store indicating not to take photos. The owner apparently has a chip on his shoulder alluding all the time that he is the owner of the store. I never been scolded for taking a picture in a post office UPS store much less at a restaurant or any store for that matter. He was very rude and disrespectful. I would never go back to that store.

Rip off
I drop of UPS packages here often. Today, I forgot to print my return label, and I asked if I can print. The Indian guy told me " I can print for you". He didn't say he would charge me. After I forwarded the email to him and he printed it. He asked me to pick it up from the printer. After I handed him the printed label, he charged me $2 for 1 piece of paper! What a rip off. I will not drop off my packages here anymore!!

New Owners no good
A year or so ago new owners took over the Pak Mail at 3823 Tamiami Trail East in Naples FL 34112. Since their taking over from a very hard working and reliable couple, the new owners have cut the hours back one and one-half hours per day and shortened Saturday hours by an hour. They have one very personable and responsible clerk, but that is it. The new owners do not seem to be around much, which means that the wait time at the counter can be very long. As I work, and do our work mail business there, this is sometimes a problem for me.
As this is a customer service business, it is surprising the Pak Mail franchise owners do not have more regulations in place, as I am considering changing to another mail center after being with this Pak Mail for almost 10 years.

horrible customer serivce
I have been a loyal customer of the Pak Mail near my house for years. The store is located in the Dunwoody Place Shopping Center at 8725 Roswell, Rd, Sandy Springs, GA, 30350. I go there often. I just returned from that store and a new clerk was in the store alone, blasting an African American, racially divisive political show on her laptop. I was parked in front of the store and I told her I needed help getting my package in the store because it was too large for me to carry myself. In the past the woman who worked there would have been more than happy to help me and did so on many occasions. The new clerk told me she is not lifting packages. She's in her early 20s and I'm in my early 60s. I used her dolly and had to get my very large (4 feet by 4 feet) 30 lb. box onto the dolly and into the store myself. She didn't even hold the door open! Then she told me to lift the package onto the scale, which I struggled with but accomplished on my own. After I had paid for it, she told me to remove the package from the scale and put it back on the dolly, which I struggled with but accomplished. I was looking at her rather incredulously, since I was in disbelief about how unprofessional she was, and she noticed and asked me if I was OK. I left the store shaking my head, and will make a point of not going back. I'll drive a little further next time to the UPS store or another competitor.

rudeness & unprofessionalism
I have done business with Pak Mail for a few years. Always very satisfied. I didn't realize that the ownership changed until I went up to pay my bill. I pay every 3 months. In the past they have always put a notice in my box alerting me the due date was soon. I went in yesterday and found the notice. I took it home with my mail. I read it and intended to go the next day to pay. For 3 months it's $31.00. If one is late, it's $5 extra. I politely told the gentleman I didn't feel I should pay the late fee because the notice said the due date was 5-20-15. which would have been fine except that at the top of the notice, the date that the notice was printed out was 6-29-15. I told the gentleman since the notice wasn't put in my box until over a month past the due date, of course it was going to be late. I expect the notice to be timely. Now, most business people would discuss this rationally and politely but he smirked and said in a very snotty tone, "Oh, it's okay for YOU to be late, but not ME". I was stunned that he acted unprofessional and sarcastically. I tried to talk to him but instead of answering my questions, he kept making snotty remarks. I paid it without the late fee. But the whole issue was the was he treated me, a loyal customer. If it weren't such a pain in the butt to change my address I would have taken my business elsewhere.
I have always been satisfied with Sandy the previous owner. But I'm afraid this new guy is too rude to confront. I will continue to rent my box, but all my postage, boxes, shipping, etc., will be done at the post office from now on.
I just wanted you give you feedback on this.
Thank you
Susan Learn...customer of Pak Mail, 1800 E Ft Lowell #126, Tucson, Az.
