My trucking company brokered a load through PAM TRANSPORT. I was supposed to be able to pick up any time of the 24 hour period for that day. I arrived at the shipper at 5:00am and was told the load would not be ready until 7:00 pm that night. I called Pan transport and they asked me to wait until 8:00 when the broker came in to get to the bottom of it. I did and he (Chase) called me and said he was working on it. At 10:10 he called and stated the load would not be ready until7:00pm and the customer wasn't going to pay my detention pay and I would receive$150.00 for them not using my truck. I drove50 miles to get there and by the time they finished screwing with me I didn't have time to pickup another load due to using my hours up waiting and the distance to next load. I feel that since they had a signed contract for us to haul that load they should be made to honor their half as I did mine. I would never haul for them again. Mark Maize Maize trucking along
