I love paperbackswap. I have traded numerous books and the small fees they charge for credit and mailing is cheaper than the
cost of using gas to drive to the post office to mail a heavy book or any book. If you complain about the condition of the book look
at it's age. some of the books I ordered ave been published several years ago so of course the are not in the best condition. They are old! I have built my library to several hundred books thanks to paperbackswap and having nothing but praise for it. If my book is not in perfect condition Iusualy e-mail the requestor and inform them of same and ask if they still want the book telling them of its problems. I have had two complaints and I gave the person back their credits. 1 on condition of book. Second they wanted a hardback and I sent them a paperback. All were resolved easily.

keep your credits used up. If you don't they will "default" them on vague pretenses.
Someone did not like a FREE book we sent. so PBS just closed our acct & kept all the credits we had.

Ditto, I have been sending and receiving several hundred books from PBS for over 3 years with no problem at all. Their website is great and user friendly. I have built up a good library of professional books in subjects I am interested it. Also I've found novels, mysteries, cookbooks and other light reading, and hard to find titles.
