Author Beth Revis took parts from an old manuscript I wrote called "Olistar" and put it in her book "Across the Universe" (a #Penguin book". )This is #copyright infringement and is illegal.
I have a #polygraph test to verify that I am telling the truth abouth the above accusation. From my research last year, at that point she and Penguin Publishing made about $2.5 million in book sales off of it.
My manuscript has been in circulation since 1986.(Yes I was on the earth 8 years prior to the plagarizer.) My high school class can verify along with a person who is military personnel who reviewed my manuscript in the 80s that the drawing alone of the space ship is identical. Mine was hand drawn at the time with a ruler and segmented in an oval. I got the name from the toaster company. It was strange enough to be a sci-fi ship. The design of the oval emblem inspired me.
I sent the manuscript to my cousin by marriage #Dan Corsun who is a #Hollywood screenwriter to look over. I was around 15 years old at the time when we spoke. He gave me pointers on what to change.
I had gone through rough times and had my manuscript in a storage unit that got sold.
I saw that someone had purchased a copy of the manuscript "Gone with the Wind" at auction at Sotheby's. A lawyer explained on television that even though they own the copy of the manuscript, the right to use its contents still belong to the author. So they have bragging rights that they have the manuscript, but would still need to get permission before they could use it from the author.
Fast forward 15 years later, I chose to re-write the whole thing in a 3 part trilogy. My computer would turn on in the middle of the night for no reason for a few minutes then shut off. I eventually had to remove the battery from my laptop to keep data from being removed from it over and over again.
One day I did some research and a tracert on my computer. An IP address from a North Carolina location was connected to my computer.
I attempted to send what I could to the #copyright office and got a document that I hope is connected to what I wrote this time.
The last intellectual property hit I took this year was my piece Third Eye Blind. It was about a white man falsely accused for a missing black woman he had gotten into an accident with 24 hours prior. He can see her and she can hear him but they are in two different locations. He has the race the clock to find her before he is indicted.
He has to engage people from his past, including an elusive leader of the White Nationalist movement called "The Duke."
The synopsis, character arcs, symbolism, scenery, plot and dialogue of all 3 books of the trilogy were hand written. I figured they wouldn't steal it if it wasn't on my computer. Well, after the car dealership where I purchased it's salesman kept my duplicate key for quite a while, my manuscript was taken from my car. I have never dry heaved so much in my life.
I will NEVER write again. Ever.
But hopefully, I will get justice from this
awful woman soon. There are other facts not in this statement for the purposes of protecting my case.
FYI: I am not married, nor ever have been. I also have no children. I say this just in case someone pops up to defraud the government or public.
(Disclaimer:The above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and recollection.
