I would like bring up this matter when I was on board one of the vessel at tuas south, the project was handle by main con PENTA. When I was walking on board the vessel doing my work...I over heard some group of gang talking and I believe it not a singapore language....then I try to approach some of Indian worker and I ask them. hey the group is from where? And they told me that they from malaysian SERAWAK. NO wonder I can't understand the language....then I ask them again what they doing on board....the Indian guy said the operate the vessel crane....and I ask them r they holding singapore crane license? they said that they don't know. as I know it not easy u can get a singapore crane license...once again I try to approach one of the serawak guys...and ask r u the crane operator? then he answered me YEAH!! the I ask him do u holding singapore crane license? suddenly his face change and walk away....BANG!!!!! CONFIM the don't have any crane license and proper document to work in singapore......N The supplier just give them job...I wonder how come they still can be on board vessel? then I manage to find the answer...one of the Indian guy tell me...the supplier summit all singapore crane operator ID and license to SIC safety induction course but in the and the people who get job is the malaysian guy.....that all I can bring this up. hope immigration will take action and find out more about this case at tuas south site.
