HIGHLY DEPLORABLE QUALITY OF SERVICE BY SLT (PEO TV)

This is to share my bad experience with SLT's Peo TV connection. For the past few months i have continuously complained about the distortions in transmission (distorted picture on screen appearing every now & then) and to rectify same. Following complaints a person will call and tell me that they will attend to it at their end and things will be alright, followed by a message saying that the complaint has been successfully rectified.
But to my dismay the problem remains and i keep on calling 1212 and lodge complaints on a regular basis and the response is same. At the same time they send me vouchers requesting to introduce friends to get fiber connection to be eligible for discount in my bill without rectifying my complaints. Even a request to migrate to fiber for my already existing connection in the belief that i could overcome my problem fell on deaf years leaving me to continue with the agony of watching a distorted transmission every now & then.
Even when i requested to speak to an higher level officer they do not grant an opportunity. This disgusting, shameful behaviour by SLT was unheard of in the distant past. There service standard has gone down to an highly deplorable level.
Hope this draws the attention of RTE (Havelock Town) Exchange of SLT under whose purview my area comes under.
Hoping to shift to Dialog connection which i believe would offer a better service.

Service of PEO tv

25th December my PEO TV was disconnected. Same day informed through SLT1212.(Your complaint on IPTV0112893141 has been recorded. Reference No. 28765387). I received this SMS. Every day reminded through SLT NO. Today is 28th nothing happened. I went to Homagama SLT office and met person .I got a number of responsible lady Mrs.wasanthi and spoke over the phone . She is inefficient useless lady. She doesn't know even how to answer to the Customer .Then I found a number of the Manager Mr.Hemantha.I explained about
the injustice happend to me .He acquired every thing and promised to attend my problem today itself.But I reminded many times to him.But now time is 11.15 p.m.no one didn't come or call me regarding this issue.

Encrypted Programme

At first, the peo tv didn't connect to the Ethernet. After it got connected, there was the response error 113. Now some channels cannot be viewed as something called "Encrypted Programme" appears. Can you fix this issue as soon as possible? Please fix this.

REGARDING THE CONTINUOUS INTERRUPTION IN PEO TV - 0372283382

I'm regret to inform you that ,the service you are providing in my Peo-TV connection is worthless.
I'm using SLT telephone connection from 20 years and Peo-TV from 4 years. My Peo-TV connection is having interruptions regularly. (lagging/no pictures etc...) .Specially I faced lot of disruptions during last 2 years.Despite of the several complains to 1212 and Kurunegala SLT technical division ,I've decide to complain you in-written.

After making complains to 1212 ,your technical teams are arriving and doing some temporary adjustments.But it'll last long few hours only.
As per your technical team,the existing cables are damaged and should be replaced.As per them ,they don't have enough provisions to replace the cables.If i'm not wrong SLT is making a remarkable profit every year and yet they say they don't have enough funds to replace the cables.

It seems that SLT is violating my consumer rights.Hope this email shall reach to an authorised person in SLT and take necessary actions to rectify my problems.

Useless

Useless always gets stuck and response error 148
We called to fix it 2 times. First time they said it's ok but it was not ok. Second time we called and they said. They fixed it but it is still not fixed not worth and good luck always getting stuck.

peo tv shit

Dnt get peotv. If u subscribe u would face following errors all the time, mostly every 10-15;min time.
1. 10 min to start 2. Vague pictures all the time
3. Error 148- every 5 min thn u hv t restart the entire thing...another 10 min 4. Cannot rewind at busy hours. So its really annoying cause im living very close t colombo bt still thy did not fix this. Dialog new set up box is good no interuptions gd start up time but cannot rewind. Bt still u can watch something on tv n enjoy. ! F*** peotv

IPL Telecast on SONY MAX with Hindi commentory

Since the start of IPL matches on 9th April 2016, PEO TV has been telecasting the SONY MAX channel with Hindi Commentary for the
PEO TV subscribers up to yesterday. The previous years the PEO TV shifted the IPL telecast to SONY MAX channel no sooner match was started, which has been telecasting the matches with English commentary. We are surprised to see this Hindi commentary telecast right through the match to Sri Lankan subscribers which is superfluous. We will have to take a decision of our own, whether to shift to another service provider, if a Responsible person fail to attend to address this serious issue. We have now become laughing stock in front of our TV's after paying a reasonably big subscription fee as a platinum customer to our National service provider SLT. Please note that we are the first group of consumers to obtain ur PEO TV connection.
I am sending this mail behalf of millions of subscribers and Hope you will take prompt action with regard to this issue, to telecast the channel with the English commentary for all Sri Lankan subscribers .
