New front brake pads were included as part of inspection for $200. I checked my records later and I found front & rear pads and rotors were replaced a year before and only 9000 miles were driven since then. Pads don't wear after 9000 miles. I was ripped for an extra $200 for inspection.

bought 4-tires get 1 rebated back, will that has not happen at pepboys for me .The store tills you you'll get the rebate has not happens I have wrote them and call, I got 2 story why I can not get it, (one): was I got tires 4 days before the rebate was good, but the store said I was unsafe to drive my car that way (I know now it was to make a sale) ( I use the car to drive my grandkids in) now to get the rebate you have to buy -tire replace coverage, front end alinement, balance & mounting, new valve stem. The second : was I didn't mail in the rebate form on time (was not given the form at time of sale) had go back to store after not getting rebate in a month later, so now I was late. SO IF YOU BUY TAKE THE TIME TO FIND A TIRE STORE THAT IS TRUTHFUL TO THERE SAYING NOTE:::: I will never buy anything at PEPBOYS again AND I will do my best to stop anyone else. PEPBOYS hoping you ::YOU GO OUT OF BUSINESS

The service at the Martinez store was so bad I had to leave. The service center for tires was so bad the person was taking phone calls When I complain the guy told me that there were other tires store and I could go to them. I will NEVER go that store again.

We went to Pep Boys for an air filter for our Infiniti, we bought the air filter and when we tried to install it, the air filter looks remarkably different than the one in the car. We went back twice to the store asking if it is the correct part as it looks wrong, told that is the correct filter. 2 Months later, car is running poorly and took it back to the dealer. Turns out the air filter is wrong and it has now destroyed 2 MAF sensors to the tune of $1650. Should have gone to the dealer for the air filter - would have been cheaper.
