Tetracycline caused teeth to grey in the 60’s. Would like company to pay for caps for teeth.

I was given tetracycline as a toddler in the mid 60’s and it ruined my teeth. I have suffered a lifetime of pain, embarrassment, both psychologically, physically and emotionally.

I want to hold the drug makers responsible. I have decades of dental records as proof of what that drug maker did to me through their negligence.

I was born in 1964. I got sick as a young child and when my permanent teeth started coming in, they were a yellowish gray. They also had a striped look about them. I got picked on at school and was very self conscious. Kids can be so mean. At 8 years old, I contemplated suicide. I've lived with these teeth all of my life, and it's not fair because it's not my fault that this happened to me. It's affected my self esteem and my quality of life. Why can a man sue McDonald's and win because he spilled hot coffee on himself and got burned (which was due to his own negligence) and I and countless others can be permanently disfigured for life and have no legal recourse?

When I was a kid and I asked why my teeth looked like that, I was told that it was because of medicine that I took and that nobody knew that the medicine would have that side effect and that my teeth couldn't be fixed.

In the 90's when lazer teeth whitening became available, I had 3 treatments done. It brightened my teeth over all, but they still were different colors and not exactly white. Recently I have heard about a new whitening system called KORS. I would be interested in trying it, as opposed to veneers. My teeth appear to be fairly healthy. I've tried to take care of them and I guess I'm lucky in that respect.

Pfizer should be held accountable for the damage that their product caused. They should pay to get my teeth fixed and they should compensate everyone that has had this happen go them.
