I was medically retired from the Army and still had a loan with Pioneer in which I was forced to carry "insurance" on in case I became disabled, which happened. I gave Pioneer all the information they requested and the payments stopped. This was 6.5 years ago and the account was closed. Just got notification that missed payments had been added on my credit report with over $2000.00 in interest added to the closed account all these years later, causing my fico score to drop over 70 points. If I could go back, I would have never gone through them and advise everyone to not conduct business with them. I've been advised to not contact them at this point as not to reset any limits of statutation.

I to had a problem with Pioneer, they took out the last payment twice from my checking account. When I called I was told they only took it out once and to consult my bank. When I consulted my bank, they informed and gave me the two separate transaction ID's. I then contacted them back and they still did not comply so I faxed them proof of the transaction ID's. For the next week they gave me the run around. So at that time I decided to call my law firm with LegalShield and they wrote a letter on my behalf to Pioneer and 5 days later I had a check in the mail for the amount they overtook. My problem with Pioneer is that they have taken out 2 payments this month and lied by saying we set it up. We asked them to show us proof no one could. Then they claim they didn't have our checking account number which is totally false because that's were they sent the money for the loan. They are refusing to acknowledge that they made a mistake and took it out of our account.
