I just started a business a year ago so I wanted to accept credit cards. I ordered the Square unit the heard about Pnc merchant card reader. I have 2 accounts with pnc so I decided to go with the pnc reader. The representative on the phone talked to me for bout half an hour but never explained that I will be locked in a 3 year contract. So they took $80 from the start and suppose to give you a $200 rebate after the first transaction. I used it twice and no sign of the rebate. I called to talk to someone and they told me I had 60 days to use the reader and since I didn't in that time frame I'm not eligible for the rebate so I wanted to cancel it and go with square but they advised me that I'm locked in a contract now. It's complete bullshit I never heard of a contract or use it within a time frame. Now they will be taking $12.00 a month out even if I don't use it. So if your thinking of goin with this DONT DO IT!!

Changed to Huntington merchant and then pnc called me and said I owe them $600 for early termination.
I was with them for three months and maybe charged $1000.00. They took the fees why dhould i owe pnc $600 for what? I work a whole week hard for that money.
PNC has no honor.
PNC IS NOT FOR SMALL BUSINESS.
They will burn your business to the ground if it means a profit.
PNC IS NOT OF PITTSBURGH VALUE OF HARD WORKING FAMILIES! !
