Terrible Service

I'm on my third window replacement already, and they say these are high-quality windows. I have two windows that need to be replaced now, one is a large picture framed window that faces the front yard and the glass has completely turned white. Something is growing inside the panes. You cannot even see outside the window. And it's the only source of natural light and view to the front of the house. Both windows have been on back order for over 18 months now. Same old story...covid caused manufacturer delays and some parts completely stopped being made.
Bottom line...avoid this company at all costs. Definitely not worth it.

My windows

My husband & I have been calling in reference about our windows over 2yrs know. I’ve called and the excuse was we’re waiting on the factory & of course they blamed Covid. When we ordered the windows they lied & said the windows are made here . I’ve called corporate and I was told someone will call between 24-;8 hours . It’s been over 72hrs. When they finally came to replace our front windows they installed the wrong ones and forgot about one window they didn’t order. This totally unacceptable.mean while the company got paid they also included a life time warranty which also has been false. My husband & I have consulted with our lawyers to see how this situation we’re in can be resolved

Not happy reading these complaints

1) salesman was at my house over 6 hours. Needs to be able to get sales pitch within 1 he. I never got dinner together till after 7pm.
2) just so he would leave I agreed to buy.
3) called to cancel order the following day. Company sent out another guy, who came up with a cheaper price. When he did his inspection, he pulled siding out and didn't it put it back tight. Wish I had checked the siding before I agreed to the new price. He was quick to give me a start date.
4) I should have done the math,no interest free for 12 months. Most companies I contacted offered 12months interest free.
5)would like to cancel this project. Neighbors told me that quote was to high.

Maybe if they just didn't employ these sales tactics there wouldn't be these complaints

My complaint is the after market warranty. My windows were purchased and installed in 2003 with a "lifetime" manufacturers warranty. Guess what? 10 years later my window is broken, but the manufacturer is out of business. I was told that I would have to pay for the new glass which could run to several hundred dollars. I don't care how you spin the explanation, it is bait and switch. You can always tell a customer that the manufacturer is out of business and that they now have to purchase a more expensive product. I believe that customer service should be better than the economy. If customers pay more, they should expect more, resulting in increased business through customer satisfaction. Never should it be expect the best but accept the worst. If anyone wants to contact me regarding Power Windows, I would be happy to tell them about my experience.

Stay away

I have worked in the marketing department out of power windows and sidings cranford nj office for almost two years (the guys who knocks on your door or approaches you in BJs.) Power windows is not a bad company, in fact, they are a very good company that's treats it's employees very well. They are, however, a first-call-close sales organization, just so happens they sell windows.

All of their products are top of the line as far as quality, warrenty an especially energy efficiantcy. Sure it's gonna be a well dressed salesman at your home and not bob villa, but what company could possibly survive giving free window and siding estimates in this economy? Gimmie a break people.

I graduated in 2008 with a bachelor's from a major university, and because of the economy I couldn't find a job...doing anything! Having worked various jobs since I was 15 I was prepaired to take any job I could find. Growing up in northern nj you develop a stereo type for door to door sales. However, not only does this company offer a fair pay structure, and they actually pay you, they offer full health and dental benefits and a 401k...to knock on doors. The run several promotions through the year and have an amazing Christmas party that p diddy would be proud of. They also do a great deal of charity work and have been featured of extreme home make over and recently on NBC Philly when they completely re did and elderly women's home after she was diagnosed with a life threatening ailment.

So to all you people out there spending all their time and effort trying to bad mouth this company, GET OVER YOURSELF! The fact is that the economy is shit and will continue to be shit for the forseable future. So the next time someone knocks on your door or stops you in BJs, don't brush him off like he's some scam artist. The truth is tht he's probably a college graduate, or a father, someone with bills to pay just like you, and goals in life. We all need to take a step back and scrap the door to door stigmata because frankly it's the people like us who hustle for a living tht made this country great once, not you miserable greedy pricks who backrupted the country so you could be a little richier in your sad little world. Everyone should have to do door to door sales at some point in their life, it teaches you a whole new perspective on people, and just how cold thy can really be.

Stay away

I agree 110%. People who think working for a door to door company is easy should get over their ego! Some people have to actually work for a living in this country.
