In 2009 I invested $50,000 with Powerhouse Capital One Limited. In 2010 I invested and another 50,000 with the same company. I received interest for two and a half years on my investment. Since the beginning of 2012 I have not received any interest. Even after several complaints and request for my money to be returned I have been met with only disregard and lack of compliance. After a complaint letter from a lawyer I did receive $35,000 back from my investment of $100,000. After several of demand letters and dozens of emails I have received only vague promises which have not been kept and lies as to when my money would be returned. My wife and I are sick and tired of this travesty of Justice. Unless I spend tens of thousands of dollars lawyers tell me I cannot do anything about this. Surely there must be some rules and laws that govern these companies. I he even have approached the Alberta Securities Commision Don Rogers to help me and they have refused to get involved. I do not have the money to fight this in court although I did once attend on my behalf merely to obtain the financial statements which up to this point Ron MC clenagan as president of Powerhouse Capital One has refused to provide. All of the shareholders are being kept in the dark with no one who really wants to grab the bull by the horns and take this man to court.
