Discoloration
I have been an avid fan of Prada bags for ever since ai can remember. My particular favorite is their Tesutto Nylon material because it is lightweight and durable. Since I go for classic styles, I have been using my more than 20 Prada bags for decades as they are, for me, timeless pieces of style and portability.
Recently, though, I noticed discoloration of one of the bags. I tried to immerse it in water and mild detergent, hoping to remove what looked like stains on the material, only to have it develop more blackish stains around the zipper area, and creases all over. I had it brought to the Prada shop in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, where I bought it years back, to ask if they can help me address the discoloration and the creases that developed. I wanted to find out if there is a particular cleaning solution that I should use to address the problem. Or if there was a method of “pressing” the nylon to smoothen the creases. I was shocked to have received a very uncaring, “we cannot do anything to help you” attitude, mainly because the bag is years old already. This isn’t the kind of after sale service I was expecting of such a prestigious shop. Servicing of old bags is something that should be given focus because it speaks of the long lifetime of their products.
I have been trying to locate the email address of Prada’s customer service to give this feedback, only to come to various dead ends. How can such a familiar brand be so incommunicado?
Would anyone know what email address I could send this feedback to?
