32 in Proscan led did not make it a year.

Bought my Mother this tv for Christmas It did not make it a year. The warranty went past due before I could get before they would have received it by two days. I just want to get the part so I can fix it myself. No such luck. Uncle Sam needs to shut these anal projections down.

Proscan TV

I bought a 32" Proscan TV on 23 November 2017 . It quit working in June of 2018 .
I sent all the paper work they wanted and i still haven't received a word from them as to what they are going to do about it.
By the way i bought an extra protection plan on it, Asurion through Shopko.

Proscan Tv

TV quit working

32 inch flat completely stopped working two months after warranty expired and seems as if these TVs are only meant to last only a few months after warranty It’s a complete rip off and I’m not please at all with how the manufacturer handles these issues as if they could care less

picture

When changing channels the picture does not comes on right away, the picture will come on and then go black with a sigh of "no signal" that lasts for 15 to 20 seconds or more before the picture comes back.

32 inch Proscan Problems

My TV is about one year old. Recently it has started automatically changing channel and the volume goes to maximum. The remote freeze and the only think I can do is turn the TV off. Some days, it works perfectly. But other day, I can not watch a complete picture as it will start a massive run through of channels.

no picture

My 2 year old 32" Proscan TV/DVD combo has no picture, only sound. I was told that the back light may be out. The TV was a gift so I don't have the receipt, so it cacao be returned to the store. How/where can I get it repaired because I am a senior citizen, can't afford a new one, and rely on it to watch movies.

ProScan TV

I only had my Proscan TV for about 6 months and now it is a piece of black art on my TV stand. I try to turn it on and it just flashes the Proscan name on the screen for a second and nothing. The only thing we get is sound and no picture. Well I guess I can listen to it. So I'm going to trash it and get a new one TV with a different brand. I will never trust this name brand again.

After reading the complaints about it they should not be in business selling TV's. If my TV was the cause of burning down my house I would surely make them pay for it.

Problem with ProScan TV - Thomson, Inc.

We bought a 42 inch proscan and totally agree with screen name -rgmbem this TV should be recalled. My husband and I bought it from Sears about 4 yrs ago. My 11 yr old son was watching TV the other day when he noticed that smoke was coming out from the top of the TV, he went over by the TV and it smelled like it was burning. He called us into the room to come right away and my husband turned off the TV right away and unplugged it from the wall. This could have caught on fire and caused harm to our child. I consider Sears a reputable company that stands behind their product and noticing the other complaint listing above makes me think twice about purchasing other products from Sears again unless something is done to take care of the issue at hand. I have emailed Misty H. a Social Media Moderator for Sears in hopes that she will take care of this issue. I will remove my complaint or readdress once this is taken care of.
