PSI real estate bad material

I took the PSI salesperson exam on May 23 and missed the exam by one point due to the proctor providing the wrong amortization chart at no fault of mine own and i'm requesting the waiver to for the exam with a passing for the real estate before I'm schedule to retake on June 4th. This is the second time i've inquired with no results from PSI. If you review the question and use the chart you will see the answers are not available with the chart provided.

the question is what is the annual interest for loan $320,000 at 6% interests for 30 years. The chart at the site for 6% is 6.00 give interest $1920.00, multiply by 12 equal $23040 which was not one of the answer. When I got home i used the chart attached for 6% gives a factor of 5.99551 which will give monthly interest of $1918.5632. multiply by 12 equal $23023, i have search amortization calculators and the results is the same as the chart attached, https://www.calculator.net/amortization-calculator.html?cloanamount=320000&cloanterm=30&cinterestrate=6&printit=1

Misleading Practice Exams

I scheduled a General Contracting state license test through PSIExams. Upon paying for the General Contracting test for 2 topics (Grading, Sewer & Water), I was prompted to pay for a practice exam. Why wouldn't I want to access to a practice exam from the organization giving the test? It had been beneficial when taking tests through NCEES. When I went to take the practice test I found that NONE of the questions from the test pertained to the topics that I will be tested on so I reached out to PSIExams.

I sent an email to PSIExams explaining my situation and asking for clarification. No response after over a week.

I called PSIExams who insisted that there was no way to know what would be covered by the practice test, they are not responsible for their practice test material, and there would not be a refund. They were insistent that it was my choice to pay for the exam and I should have known that there was a possibility the practice test may not contain any beneficial information pertaining to my future licensure test. They agreed on several occasions that there was no way for me to know what topics would be covered by the practice exam prior to taking it. After requesting to speak with the individuals manager, the manager stated that there was nothing she could do and hung up on me.

To summarize: You should expect PSIExams to sell you unhelpful information. If you want an explanation, they will hang up on you and refuse to answer after stating that it is your responsibility to understand their incompetency.

PSI scamming $$ out of ppl

I do not know what to say or how to feel about this company. It seems to pick certain people on who to scam from. I've taken the test 3 times 7/21, 8/21, and today 9/17/2021. My realtor class ended on May 2021. The information on real estate is minute an self explanatory. I knew pretty much every question given to me each time and yet failed. I even bought the pre/exam in which i cant access because apparently the test is only compatible with a mac version of laptops. like wtf, how do you sell tests that you aren't advertising ONLY compatible with Mac. Not sure if they're making up from the pandemic losses but this is not cool. How cant you trust the system. On PSI brochure they have a section that states if you need a re-score hit us up, unless your known for making errors in the past. SMH.......Not only that but how you charging for 90 questions on the general and 35 questions on the state , but only count 80 on the general and 30 on the state. I called asking why and was given a hypothetical answer stating that its examples questions ONLY. That makes no sense !! so how i know y'all decided not to count 10 right questions. I'm not taking this too lightly , if my tests aren't recalculated and or fixed , ill write the news channels , the white house anyone that'll put PSI on blast and correct the wrong they've done probably to thousands IN ORDER TO STEAL PEOPLES MONEY!!

Testing Facility didn't give me all my material

First, I have taken several exams through PSI and can see a lot a familiar issues as posted in the above complaints. My issue is the test center was suppose to give me a 2 sets blueprints that 27 questions were allocated to. I never got them and thought when I needed them they would be on the computer. This is how it has been for all my past test. I save math and prints for last on my test.

I had around 1.5 hrs left when I got to the questions that required the blueprints. When I couldn't find any drop downs for them, I got up to ask the psi attendant. They came over and looked and then said they will go see if they had any. About 10 minutes later, they bring two sets of residential plans. I questioned this because I was taking a commercial test. More time is being wasted and I show the attendant how the first few questions were not matching the plans and were calling out for an industrial set. Again, they went and looked and returned with the industrial set, another 10 minutes or so was wasted. I answered two questions, then it was called out for the multi-storied plans. I went up to find the attendant and let them know, but they were no where to be found. I went to the hall and looked as well. I went back to my seat and tried to review what I was missing and returned to look for the attendant 3 times! Someone finally came to check and see if I had the correct plans, I had about 40 minutes left to answer the remaining questions. These questions are 90% math and take several minutes to answer.

Basically I ran out of time and failed the exam by 2-3 questions. Guess what area I failed, yes the plans and estimating section. The ones I ran out of time on, and an area I have not failed in the previous dozen plus test I have taken in the past. I tried to complain at the center, but they were not interested in helping. I called psi on my way home and was on hold for 40 minutes waiting for someone to pick up! I ended up hanging up and will now try to email them.

For people who take test here, you will see the pattern of how the test are set up. It isn't in your favor, correct answers or not.

Proctored Exam COVID-19

So I registered to take the exam I logged in 15 minutes early like the email says you can. When you hit the launch exam button it doesn't get past the first screen and says not logged in. I know I am logged in. I double check and in fact I am logged in. I keep trying to launch and it does not work. So I wait until the exact minute my test is supposed to start and hit the launch button. This time it takes you past the not logged in screen and does in fact launch the test. I go to start the test and the internet drops out and I miss my window because by the time I fix the internet I am past my window to take the exam now. If the system would of let me log in 15 minutes earlier like it says you can in the email instructions I would have made it.

Okay after rescheduling I did that same. I made sure I was 30 minutes early and got everything set up in my room. Log into my account and click my home screen. Once I click the home screen it takes me to the exam that I have scheduled and 15 minutes before the exam I click launch. Nothing happens I try this 8 more times. Finally at this point I just wait until the exact time of my exam like last time and click launch. Again it takes me to the page not logged in. So I keep trying to launch the test and it wont take me past the next screen. So something is set up wrong on the PSI end. Either no one is on the other end of the exam or maybe because I am taking the test on a Monday morning in Bagdad Iraq, there is no one in the United States to supervise the test which would be a Sunday stateside. Obviously something is wrong on there end. The system doesn't let you log in 15 minutes early and what worked the first time didn't work the second time. I am now wondering if they scheduled me into a time slot the system could not support. I have the correct browsers on my laptop updated. It passed all their systems checks and I even tried to launch in a different browser besides chrome. I really hope PSI does the right thing and fixes this problem and lets me reschedule.

PSI

I took the state electrical certification test and I swore I had at least an 80% to 90%.WTF, I got a 60% and I answered 110 questions but my score only reflects 100 total. WTF kind of BS is going on here?

Reschedule exam

The customer service is really unhelpful. I cancelled my AWS certificate exam to reschedule the week after and the system didn't allow me to reschedule. The customer service was unable to provide a solution, they just read the faqs. I had to spend £180 to reschedule, although I have already paid for the exam. Truly disappointed, if PSI exams is a contracting company they are doing a terrible job. I would avoid PSI, and use VUE

PSI Testing Issue

I am a professional and have been practicing the course material for many years. At the request of my supervisor I was asked to take the certification
.I took the open book exam and found out to my dismay that I didn't pass. I said ok it was timed and ran out of time. I retook the exam remembering to study where the information was in book. I retook exam with confidence and checked the answers in the book as I went through each question and when completed still told me I missed passing my 2 questions.... Something is very very wrong here. I am going to test center and find out what's going on.

Can anyone assist please this is ridiculous and am at a complete loss

Weather delay no customer service

This company only cares about taking your money, write your Congressman, Senator, Governor, to urge them not to keep contracting this awful company. The only clients this company cares about is the state contracts it owns, normal people taking the test, they could care less. Hit them were it hurts them the most!! Never notified about weather closers, could care less about a quick reschedule. Terrible company!!

Bad customer service and policies

Worse run company ever, just want to waste people’s time. Wish they had some competition for testing contract so they would take customer service serious! Closed for weather couldn’t put it on their website before they closed, didn’t try to contact any clients about closer. They didn’t have a new date I could reschedule until 2 weeks later from first date that was cancelled because of weather. Won’t make any accommodations if you a documented learning disability. This company gets contracted by states to do test, really doesn’t care about clients, cares more about keeping contacts with state so, they can just keep stealing people’s money. Worse run business!

I have scheduled twice, and paid $45 twiice, only to be told that I selected the wrong exam, excuse me but I know which exam I signed up for, I triple checked it after the first time, thier system is fatally flawed.

PSI Exam Proctor and Test

Took my second attempt at the P&C exam yesterday. First time failed with a 65, yesterday with a 69. It’s a 150 question test with 160 questions which is a damn scam. Also it’s the second time a proctor discriminated against me for my blood glucose meter. I’m a hypoglycemic diabetic and wear a sensor with a tiny palm sized meter that I use to scan the sensor to measure my blood sugar. He was rude and told me I couldn’t take it in. I asked what his plan was if I passed out. He stated, well I’ll let you take in it this time but the next time you’re here it’s not happening. How did he know I’d be there again? Two different testing centers and I’ve never met him before as well. Seems like he accidentally let the PSI exam scam out of the bag. Called a lawyer. I’m done with their game.

i took the AWS CSA exam yesterday (Aug 10, 2018). during the test my computer froze many times and a technician had to shut it down and restart it. Also, I had to wait after every 3-4 questions to save the data or hit with error. I could not focus on the exam due to multiple interruptions and I run out of time to complete the exam. The facility manager acknowledged that he will create an incident and I may get credit to attempt the exam again. I called the PSI but their office was closed today. I will contact on monday to try for exam credit coupon for next attempt.

Testing Material

It is a fact that any and all exam material is NOTHING like the questions you are asked in the actual exam. I have studied for over 3 months, daily, at the expense of my insurance company and continue to fail the test by a few points. The questions are sometimes not even actual questions. There is no comma's or periods and they are asking the same thing in four different ways so it takes 10 minutes just to figure out what they are asking! I have nothing left to study. I know the material. I can answer any question. Twice, the dates were changed and I was not notified or refunded or allowed to take the next exam without paying another fee. The practice questions are simple and asked in a correct speaking manner. They are NOTHING like the questions on the exam. So the four practice exams to the tune of over 100.00 was a total waste of time. Talk about the biggest scammers in history? This is it.

FDNY exam 7001

i took the FDNY test in september of 2017. during the test my computer froze and a technician had to shut it down and restart it. i went for a review a month later which let me look at my answers and the answer key. all of my answers were there and i got everything correct. 6 months later i was notified i failed the exam. i don't understand how this can happen after i saw the answer key and i got everything correct. there had to have been an issue with the computer. also a lot of people i know didn't receive additional credit that they claimed at the test. of course psi and the city haven't helped me at all and now i have to get a lawyer involved.

Virginia State exam for real estate salesperson

Recently on April 11 I took the Virginia real estate sales person state portion of the real estate exams.

It was supposed to only have 40 questions on it and 45 minutes to take the exam my exam had 45 questions on it and still only 45 minutes to take the exam when I called to complain I was told that the extra five questions were experimental questions. That we’re not supposed to take away from my time nor take away from my final score which they did they took away from my time and I’m about certain that they took away from my score because I ended up failing the test by one question.

I have called four times now to the PSI customer number and got transferred to a supervisor all four times only to be able to leave a voicemail which they never return

I want to dispute this because I did not sign up for any experimental programs nor was giving any consent that I would take an extra five questions which will take away from my time and affect my score.

We all need to band together on here And petition the government or someone to get us a reliable exam administrating company that is upfront and honest that doesn’t cheat us So they can get another testing fee from us for something that they caused us to fail the test over.

Staff at Cherry Hill, NJ PSI test site

On 3/13/18 I went to take an exam at Cherryhill NJ PSI test site. While I waited to be registered in several people who were taking exams came out to complain to staff that their computers were not working. I went in and of course my computer was broken. This upset me being I was prepared to take my exam. I asked the only woman working that morning if she could switch me to an open computer she was very rude and told me to sit down. This unprofessional rude woman continued to talk mean until after 30 minutes she said I can use the staff computer in a private room.She told me to sit down in the common area first where I asked one of the two male workers if I could have a tissue that was on his desk. She ran over and said “go get one in the bathroom” I told her I wasn’t asking her and he was giving me a tissue. She said “ go in the hall to use a tissue” I responded no and that I felt she was very angry and mean. The two men where clearly scared of their boss and made eyes to me . One of the men whispered she’s difficult just sit here as she says. I told him I was not scared of her. She was clearly unstable.
She then left the door open in the staff room and walked away she did not tell me I could sit or apologize or give me any instruction. The man told me That computer was for me. I sat down while she was in the staff room. She was making her coffe and I sat there. After a few minutes I asked if I could starts and she said yes. I informed her that I would like to wait until she is done making her coffee. I did not feel safe in a small room with her and she was being loud. After a few minutes she left the room. During the first 20 minutes of my exam even through the ear plugs I could hear her laughing and talking about how upset I was. I was very tempted to ask her to stop but feared she would mess up my test, score or certificate. This woman needs to be fired she is bullying the other two men and she is aggressive in her words and body language . Absolutely no way a person should be treated while trying to take a scheduled and paid for exam!!!!!

Not Mobile Friendly?!

Was informed that the website is NOT mobile friendly after the site said I rescheduled my exam. I was given a confirmation pop up of my rescheduled exam location, day and time. I logged in the following evening (original exam day) and the mobile version let me reschedule again. I went back in to confirm day, time and location and the site told me my texam time expired. And the only supervisor "Chris" says the site is ment to be accessed through the internet and preferably through internet exployer. I asked where this infor mation is accessible on their site and he said "It isn't." Please email me at [email protected] so we can get a class action suite filed. This is ridiculous. They approved my rescheduled exam and then two minutes later tell me online that my exam time has passed. This is the worse company ethics. I feel terrible for the employees. They have no way to make the company better.

Fingerprints

It's been six weeks since I've passed my health-insurance test and been fingerprinted, and I still don't have my license! When I called my state's insurance department, I was told that my license application couldn't be processed because they still hadn't received my fingerprint results.

This is beyond aggravating! I've already spoken to two PSI CSRs, and they've been useless. But I will stay on them until this matter is rectified.

FYI: The employees at the Bala Cynwyd testing center, which was where I took my test, were extremely rude and attitudey toward me, and I have suspected that they either didn't submit my fingerprints for processing or took their sweet time doing so just to spite me!

wrong test

I was on time to take me test I was supposed to take home improvements C, but they told me they heard someone say they wanted me to take A, B general contractors. I told them I only paid for home improvements C and they told me they would talk to someone about it. I waited several minutes still no one told me anything and the test started on the screen. Most of the questions were not related to home improvements at all they were about building from the ground up. I failed of course, at 42%. For one it was the wrong test, another they overheard someone say to give me A, B general contractors. Sounds very fishy to me. None of this crap should have happened.

Psi testing

Took my psi test today it said I failed I took all the pre test and passed them none of the question were hard or challenging I really thing they just want more money from me it's starting to kids me off because I really need to pass this exam plus out of 110 question they only gave me credit for completing 100 and than they said I failed with 67% now mind you I just took the test a little less than a year ago and the last time they said I failed with the same 67% I really smell a scam here because out of a pool if 3500 questions there would be no way I should hit the same exact score twice in a row and none of the question were the same this is getting sad is it really all about the money was looking forward to never taking that test again well I guess when you control the exam and there is no accountability or overseeing of the exams by outside parties the people get ripped off without anyone even batting an eye I really wish these scammers had overseers to stop the fraud..

Useless customer service

I CALLED and spoke with a representative to schedule an exam on a specific DAY NOT DATE. She went through the available DATES and schedule me. I assumed since I told her the day I was available that was the day she was giving me. I get to the testing site only to find the DATE she scheduled was the day prior. I called customer service and explained the situation. She said I had to reschedule (meaning pay another $115) and said there was nothing they could do. I told her I spoke to a person to schedule the appointment making the rep aware of the day I wanted but didn't get it. She said they could listen to the conversation and when I asked who do I need to speak to to initiate that process, she hesitated then said she could get her "lead" on the phone. Of course that person never came and when she came back on the phone she stated she was going to send a message and I should hear back from someone in 24 hours. We will see. I asked for a copy of the transcript to be emailed to me and she said they could not provide that. So now I'm waiting for a call that may never come from a company that doesn't believe in taking fault. It's unbelievable how a company could be so unaccommodating and take people's hard earn money with no cares.

Do not take the online test exam for $24.99

Do not take the online test exam 50 questions for $24.99. I paid $24.99 and never got access to take my exam?? But was charged for a test I never took. I’m really upset about this!!!!!! I want my money back and will be expecting to get my $24.99 dollars back!!!!!!!!!!
