I am a regular customer at Quest Diagnostics Lab. They have my info on record and I always provide them with new copy of ID, insurance EVERY single visit even though I go there frequently. On my last visit 6-30-2021, I did the same thing and I just got a bill for almost $750. When I called my insurance , they said Quest did not file a claim and assured me they are in network.
I have been trying to get hold on Quest since, their phone number put you on a loop automated answer that ends up hanging up on you no matter what option you chose. I went to the Lab where I usually and they said multiple patients had come to them with the same problem but they don't deal with billing. They gave me a phone number and rushed me out of the door. I have gone on my web portal account with Quest and checked every single detail to see if they're missing any info but everything was correct and saved including my insurance info. I sent them an email, they said they opened a case. Since then, I have been receiving random emails from people claiming to work for Quest and asking me for my Date of birth, social and phone number so they can help me. This is a fraud place and very illegitimate activity. I just want Quest to file a claim with my insurance that they have on file, stop harassing me with high $$$ bill otherwise I am going to report them to the attorney general.
