To whom it may concern:

I would like to log a complaint about UIF Offices in Randfontein as well as your Head Office.

My husband with details above was retrenched last year July and he submitted all the required forms/information to Randfontein on the 22nd July 2015

He receives no communication whatsoever and every time when he goes to follow up they tell him that a form or something is missing. If he doesn’t go no one phones him to inform him of any additional requirements.

In other cases then your H/O didn’t receive the forms and they need to be rescanned – what processes do you guys have in place?? How do documents go missing???
THIS IS PATHETIC!!

Last year he was told to come back in January as the guy that deals with his claim is on leave and only returns on the 27th January 2016 – so there is no one that can do the job if that specific person is not available????????

Actually I think you guys don’t give a DAMN about people sitting at home without a JOB depending on this money.

It’s now been 6 months and still my husband don’t have an answer…….!!!

The above email were send to UIF Complaints on the 27th January, where i received a response from Thabang Mahlangu confirming that the UI 19 and salary schedule form is outstanding that's why the claim cannot be paid. even though these documents were send along with the rest of the documents it got lost and he confirmed this telephonically to my husband. i emailed the documents the morning of the 28th January and requested confirmation - up until today i've received no feedback. my husband was also promised that we would get a call from Randfontein which never happened.

This leaves me no choice but to go to the newspapers!!
