CARD DELIVERY SLOWER THAN A TURTLE
I received a notification that I was approved for a Hexagon card but I also have a classic card with them since 2017. I have no problems with my classic card from the start whether its from delivery to bills or anything so I thought why not just get their Hexagon card and it's a complimentary card anyway.
I received the text last January 12, 2021 and made follow ups from the branch manager (which as per ads you will get a dedicated one) DEFINITELY NO HELP. Followed up it in March 19 turns out my card was supposed to be delivered last Feb 2, 2021 I requested for re delivery and my card was out for delivery on March 23, 2021. I always made sure to follow up every week almost every day from calling customer service to Facebook messenger and guess what they keep on doing that verification thing with literal no use and now April 20th came I received an email saying that my address was "UNLOCATED" so I was fuming mad called customer service again and same process with all the verification and asking of a landmark which I already provided them like more than 10x customer service is a shit show will not let me talk to a supervisor .
My card is till out for delivery til now and I got approved last January 12 and now its almost May.
What's making me even more mad with them is Unionbank got my new card delivered with 2 business days after approval with no hassle I just emailed them once and received a reply the day after that while with bankard I have to wait minimum of 15 days before I get a reply VERY DISORGANIZED CUSTOMER SERVICE.
REALLY REALLY STUPID CUSTOMER SERVICE. DELIVERY COURIER IS STUPID AS HELL. IN GENERAL THEY ARE A SHIT SHOW i would have understand if I didn't make any effort for the card to be delivered but hell I been making follow up every week almost everyday and nothing.

Car Loan
We have 1 missed payment which is the very last payment as we paid 4 years and 11 months with no missed payment and even during lockdown, we still fund the Bank account even they stopped taking effect the DD due to Bayanihan Act as per President Duterte. We only came to know about the missed payment around Jan2021 when we were asking for them to provide us confirmation of full payment. So to cut the story short, we fund the RCBC Bank account and we inform them that the money is there and they can take effect the DD authority. But after several emails, calls, we only received an email reply on 5 March again saying that we have 1 month unpaid. We again explains ourselves and again advised that fund is there and they can take it to pay off the loan. But after that email until now, no response still. I don't know why they are taking this long to respond or to action. We have not advised if there is a specific process to pay off car lloan when payment is missed, they just keep on saying (Customer service) that we have 1 month missed payment. It was really frustrating especially, you have done your part and now the ball is on RCBC side, but they just drop the ball. Not really happy. Not satisfied at all to think that I am begging for them to take my money and pay off the car loan so we can pick up the ORCR. I just really hoped they be what they are to be, if they are a Collection Department, then they should help their Customer to be able to pay off and provide clarification. But what is happening is, it is the Customer chasing for us to be serviced by them.
Until now still begging and since we paid Feb, until now, no action still from Collection Department. Oh my, just really very disappointing RCBC Chino Roces Branch in Makati.

No Statement of Accounts from RCBC
I am so surprised to just found out that I have an existing bill of P 9,913.21 when I have never received any statement of account neither through email nor SMS. They just forwarded my account to the collection immediately without giving me any notice. I do not even know where that amount came from. I am sure this is covered by the Bayanihan Act or RA 1194.
Bayanihan to Recover as One Act (Bayanihan 2), designated as Republic Act No 11494, is a Philippine law granting the President additional authority to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. The law grants customers a one-time 60-day grace period for all loans with principal and/or interest falling due during the covered period. It also relieves customers of late payment fees and interest on interest.
"The Bayanihan to Recover As One Act (RA11494) covers the payment extension of BPI and BPI Family Credit Cards nationwide. This covers current accounts. It grants customers a one-time 60-day grace period and a waiver of late payment fees and interest on interest.
Covered Areas: Nationwide
Covered Period: The one-time 60-day grace period shall cover Statements of Account with due dates falling within the period of September 15, 2020 to October 19, 2020.
What are the fees waived under the Bayanihan to Recover As One Act?
For customers who have been paying the Minimum Amount Due or less than the Total Amount due prior to the covered period:
• Late Payment Charges - Waived
• Interest on Interest - Waived
• Finance Charges - Not waived
For customers who have paid the Total Amount Due in full as stated in their Statements of Account falling due from August 17 to September 14.
• Late Payment Charges - Waived
• Interest on Interest - Waived
• Finance Charges - Waived
A waiver of these fees will be reflected in your Statement of Account. To familiarize yourself with the corresponding entries to expect, check here.
The big problem is that I have no been receiving any Statement of Account for more than a year now.

missing payment
I made a deal to pay my creditcard debt wayback 2016 for 5 months i paid 3 months but i missed the last 2 payments because i was hospitalized and did not work again, now collectors are trying to collect the money again in full, so what will happened to my previous payments?

POOR COLLECTION
I'M A CARD HOLDER FOR SEVERAL YEARS. I ENCOUNTER FINANCIAL PROBLEM SO I SKIP PAYING CERTAIN MONTHS AND WHEN I TOTALLY HAD MONEY I INSTANTLY SETTLED MORE THAN THE MINIMUM DUE REQUIRED. I CALL RCBC HOTLINE FOR UPDATE OF MY PAYMENT, DOES THEY RECEIVED MY PAYMENT OR ANY UPDATE/STATUS OF MY ACCOUNT SADLY THEY SAID THE SYSTEM IS LIMITED AND THEY CAN NOT VIEW MY PAYMENT COS I BEEN FORWARDED TO COLLECTION. AFTER A CALL, LATE AFTERNOON I RECEIVED A CALL FROM COLLECTION DEPT AND I'M ASKING IF THEY HAVE ANY UPDATE THEY SAID MY CARD IS ALREADY CANCELLED TOLD THEM I ALREADY PAID. THEY SAID THEY WILL SEND EMAIL FOR COMPUTATION OF MY ADJUSTED MONTHLY DUE OR 2 OPTION TO SETTLE MY ACCOUNT. THEY OFFER TWO OPTIONS. I SAID CAN YOU PLEASE EMAIL ASAP BEFORE MY DUE DATE. GUESS WHAT? ITS BEEN A MONTH UNTIL NOW NO EMAIL HAS BEEN SENT.I ALREADY PROVIDED TO EMAIL ADDRESS. AS OF THIS MOMENT TRY CALLING AGAIN TO RCBC HOTLINE PROMISING COLLECTION DEPT WILL CALL UP WITHIN THIS DAY. IM SO ANGRY WITH THE COLLECTION DEPT. I LISTED EVERY NAMES OF THE COLLECTION AGENT. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT FOR I DON'T WANNA WASTE MONEY PAYING WITH NO ASSURANCE IF THEY RECEIVED MY PAYMENTS AND ANY UPDATE ON MY ACCOUNT.

Certificate of full payment
I needed the Certificate of Full Payment to secure car loan from another bank. Before I settled the final amount, the collections department kept calling. But after I settled last June 27, my certificate was not issued as they committed, which is after 10-15 banking days. I've been calling their customer hotline and emailing them EVERYDAY but no answers to my emails or "callouts".
Service is so disgusting. They just want to suck money from you then after that, they disappear into thin air without a word, like professional robbers.
I hope the BSP sanctions RCBC Bankard for their very poor client service.

rcbc collection
i forgot to pay my bankard on time and surprisingly i called the bank and asked about coz as per text message from bankard it says im on 60 days past due so i was so worried about it. I asked the collection officer and surprisingly he just said ay sorry naka endorse napo account nyo sa collection agency and it's already cancelled.
so i said how come it was cancelled already at 60 days. can someone from collection call me to give me a better option but unfortunately until now no one from bankard directly called but isntead it was already the commission based law office who's now calling and harrassing me.
bankard pls do something about this!!!! Your name will be completely ruined.

I just want to share the story of my friend and what happened with his transaction with rcbc bank junction 1 puerto princesa city Palawan...
It was suppose to be a simple transaction of depositing a managers check .
Only 4 people knew about it. The Buyer seller agent and the bank teller.. I wont mention any names for security reasons.. While deposting the check one afternoon ...The agent was made to wait for two hours .... Accdg to the story And was kinda like interrogated ( kanong kano ang kwento noh) ...questions by the manager of rcbc bank are somewhat personal according to the agent ...and so after two stressfull hours the deposit of the check was accepted .......the next day everybody knew about it..!!!!! WTF!!!! Who told who???
not only my friends life ,his savings his security his safety was jeopardize but everybody in his family... because of the info leaked by the manager ( thats my friends gut feeling talking.....🤔) Oh my gosh!!!!! ..
my banking and finance subject in college was below average ... But using my below average i.Q
I know that bank tellers, security guards and all the people working inside a bank specially the MANAGERS should not leak any information and should protect thier clients rights to privacy... And should not break their trust and should do everything to make their clients feel secured......In my own personal opinion ...My friends TRUST in RCBC junction 1 puerto princesa city palawan went down the drain ... In tagalog ang tiwala nya sa rcbc juntion 1 palawan nahulog na sa SCEPTIC TANK 💩💩💩.. He knew that the MANAGER of RCBC junction 1 puerto princesa palawan ang tsismosa na kinalat ang transaction nya sa labas ....
In addition to that gumagawa ng hocus pocus ang manager na ito sa loob ng banko
Kaya rcbc main branch paki check up naman eyong manager ng RCBC puerto princesa junction 1 palawan ... Bago pa mawalan ng tiwala ang ibang clients ..

Clearance
I am a cardholder of bankard (mastercard) with card no. 5179681011855005 from Oct. 2011 to 2014 and renewed till 2017. But due to financial problems I was not able to pay on time and bankard terminated my account. Collection agency demanded me to settle it. It took me sometime to settle my overdue account. Last February 28, 2017 if I recalled correctly I called RCBC hotline informing them that I'm going to pay my overdue account. I paid the full amount told by the representative for me to pay on that very moment (receipt is still with me). With that I ask the representative if I can get a clearance indicating that I'm already paid in full. The representative told me that after a verification of the collection agency that my account is already settled they will send the clearance in my email address within 3 days after verification. Waited for a week but there was no clearance that came in my email. For I cant remember how many times I've been to RCBC branch to call their hotline and a representative on the other end of the line telling me that my clearance will be sent in my email after 2 working days but there wasn't any clearance up to this time. Its already been 4 months since my first request and I already had enough of their bull****.

interest charges
last month ang bill ko ay 52k . ang naibayad ko lang ay 46k so may kulang pa ako na 6k sa kanila nung nagbayad na ko ng 6k di na umabot sa cut off so meron na syang interest.. ok lang yun alam ko na mag kakaroon ng interest. pero bakit naman umabot sa 2300 ang interest charges ko.. can someone pls explain to me kung bakit sya umabot ng 2300? ilang percent ba ang interest charges na pinapatong nyo?

Long hours of waiting
Gusto ko lang sana sabihin na sana naman, gawan nyo ng paraan na ma minimize yung paghihintay ng mga customer. Kasi sa totoo lang it's really annoying and nakakabadtrip talaga lalo na pag may appointment ka or nagtatrabaho. Ilang beses na akong nagpa in-cash ng check at sa lahat ng beses ng yun talagang beastmode ako. Magpapa in-cash lang ako ng check ha, pero it takes about 3-4 HOURS na paghihintay para lang ma accomplish ko. Hindi ko alam kung bakit sobrang tagal talaga ng mga teller nyo. Mabuti pa yung ibang banks kasi sobrang bilis. Tapos yung pinakanakakainis is magcoclose yung ibang tellers during lunchtime tapos ISA lang yung matitira tapos marami pang customer na naghihintay. Sana naman before kayo mag close, tingnan nyo muna yung volume ng customer's nyo. Mabuti pa yung mga senior citizen ang bibilis niyong i accomodate pero kaming mga hndi pa nabibilang sa senior citizen, grabe2 yung pagpapahintay. I understand na baka may gagawin kayong mas importante o baka gutom na talaga kayo pero hello, gutom din naman kami ah at meron rin kaming mga trabaho. Sana gawin niyong tama ang trabaho nyo. Business kayo eh sana bigyan nyo naman ng importansya ang mga customers nyo.

Head-Scratching Regulation
Our loyalty with the bank is more than 16 years. It may sound as a 'petty problem' but I've just had a recent misconception upon the rule 'Don't use or turn off your cellphones inside the bank'. Well, simply to provide security and prevent robbery right? But just few hours ago in Rcbc Jaro Iloilo City branch security guards kept reminding clients before to enter their premises ...'Never use your cellphone' its like 'I dare you to never bring your phones' with the understanding if there is a call or text you must answer it outside the bank. Then damn waiting for almost an hour and a half waiting for your turn on bank transaction I just want to kill out time and boredom. Newspapers or magazines were rarely provided while waiting so what are you going to do...Sleep? So i went to play on my cellphone app and viola, I was accosted by the guard while pointing to their famous signage. 😖 I think the bank never explained to.them further what 'emergency' really means.

Manager's check uncashed
I have been a member of RCBC since 2010. The first card I had with them, I had it canceled because I got a better offer from a different company. I paid off the account and couple of days after paying it off I called to get it closed. Rep said we regret losing your business but we respect your decision, blah blah blah, I was offered a retention package but I declined it. I was assured that my account was already closed. Couple of months later I received a call from an RCBC rep saying I owe them and I have not been paying them for over 3 months, it turned out my card was never closed (as requested) and now I'm already in collections because of the Annual Membership Fee. I escalated the situation and asked a supervisor to have it rectified. After a lot of efforts and ordeal I got the situation cleared and received a letter confirming the account has been closed and in good standing. Thanks to the dedicated supervisor who helped me resolve the issue.

Annual Fee
I called Bankard last year and requested that my annual fee be waived. The rep was very engaging and after a few minutes of waiting he finally said , its done, No more Annual Fee . Now i check my statement and what do i see? Annual Fee !!!! I called the hotline immediately and i was informed by the agent ( ARL, she refused to give me her ID ) that even if i was already upgraded whatever i have been paying before i have to continue paying it. In short, whatever transpired before about waiving my annual fee was a total LIE. I requested for a supervisor and i was put on hold so many times and still no supervisor. I asked for a case number or a reference number and i was not immediately given one , the agent put me on hold again before she was able to give me a reference number , i asked for a supervisor so i can check and confirm the information given by the agent = No supervisor ! Now, she has given me a way out - or an option . She said she can waive it if i will spend 3,000 before May 9. Yeah, i can definitely spend the 3Thousand but what is my assurance now that they will waive it ? I have been with RCBC for 5 years and i was never late in my payments. I was given information that they will investigate the record 3-5 working days?!!! or that i will receive a call-out ? Please be honest in your dealings

Lost money
I enchash my own cheque amounting 150 thousand the teller named Melchor tapel counting the lose money amounting 50k but i didnt notice that he count the 1 bundle of money assuming d amount of 100k with out even telling me how much or how many 1000 bill. That time they r offering me the online banking and giving me d flyers. After he count d 100k (just once) he directly put d money in d envelop so rest assured that i have 150k on that envelope but when i deposit d money to other bank they say its only 80k! I emmediatly called d office of rcbc to check and ask d teller but after that i didnt receive any call from them that day after that i rush to rcbc office hoping i can talk with d teller but unfortunately the manager didnt allow us to talk and they only keep blaming me since it was my fault! Now how can i trust them? So meaning all depositors are no right to complain and ask for explanation? I think thats there modus! It is already clear that they can do things like that!

Incompetent Reps and Managers
I have 2 credit cards from the RCBC (MasterCard and VISA). I was offered by one of their reps to avail YOUR CASH amounting to Php 55,000 and it was enticing since the rep told me it would be better to terminate all bills and pay in full plus I can use the money left for something else, which I did. I called their hotline Sept 15 to inquire how much it would cost me to process pre-termination on all of my installment plans in my MasterCard. I asked the representative to give me the total amount i need to pay to zero out all my bills. In short, the expectation set was the due amount (as it was my due date on that very same day Sept 15) plus the sum of all installments and all pre term fees. It was very clear to me that the estimation given by the rep was more or less Php 41,000 to zero out and I will be getting the whole Php 55,000 credit limit available. That lady rep asked my permission to process such request given that I will be paying the estimated amount of more or less Php 41,000 and I agreed. She told me the process will take 5 business days so I called a week after, all to find out that the estimated amount I have to pay was Php 56,000. 15,000 difference is not an estimation. I asked another rep to retrieve the call I made Sept and to also transfer me to a supervisor or a manager but no one is available that day. I cant believe a big company such as RCBC do not have managers on shift to take care of cases like this. She said she will escalate my case which I don't know if she really did as her promise of someone calling me the same day was not delivered. I called again couple of days after and was told someone did call me and oh yes, someone did and tried once and never tried again. What a shame. Again a rep promised a callback but no one did. That was Thurs Sept 29 I think. My due date for my MasterCard was Sept 15 which the same day I called to process the pre termination. I was ready to pay the same day to avoid the penalty. But since I was told it will take 5 business days I was under the impression I will not be penalized. The rep did not mention about me being penalized still. My instruction is very clear. I was willing to pay the same day, process all pre termination and give me the total amount to zero out and get the whole 55,000 credit limit back. In short, I ended up paying for more. They just waived the late fee and that's it.
And that's not it. The rep that offered me YOUR CASH also processed it incorrectly. For 12 months instead of 24 months I agreed on.
Now, this company would not even waive my annual fee. No consideration at all. My financial constraints are caused by the same company I am partnering for years. Such a shame.

Charged Without The Card
I reported my card which was stolen back 2nd of October, 2016 and they told me that they will process for a replacement card. They also informed me that there would be a fee which will be charged on my credit account as payment for the replacement card. Upon reporting of the stolen card, I informed the representative that the card needs to be delivered on my office address since no one will claim whenever it will be delivered on my home address. The agent acknowledged my request. I made a follow up a week after but the next agent told me that the delivery address was not updated and she needs to do that on her end. The agent informed me that there will be a verification process that needs to be done. After a week, I received my statement which already reflects the CHARGE for the REPLACEMENT CARD but the card is still not in my hand. I immediately called the RCBC hotline to make a follow up since the CHARGE was already reflecting. The agent informed me that within the week it will be delivered. Today, 24th of October, I called in again and given with a status that it is still on the address verification process. This process is really ridiculous! First, the customer service doesn't pay attention. Second, the delivery address verification period is too long which in fact their courier had already delivered it before in my office address. Think it would be best for RCBC not to offer credit cards to their clients.

CREDIT CARD FULLY PAID
I was a bankard card holder before, due to personal problems my account was due and demandable, a RANZELL COLLECTION & GEN. SRVS, contacted me, and have a settlement, in short as per collection agency debt acknowledgement and repayment agreement... my account was already fully paid since January 31, 2007. I don't recevied any letter from BANKARD or at collection agency since then. Now 2016, after 9 long years, unfortunately, due to retirement, i was informed that i have an overdue account at BANKARD... i was terribly shock, what happen to my payment? no clearance was issued to me by the agency and BANKARD... for God sake, napakahirap ng buhay to settle the obligations but i made it... so please have action on this... thank you

False Advertisements, Very Slow Card Delivery
Now, I applied for an RCBC Instacard (fastest way to get a credit card according to their ads) last Feb. 4. After I've deposited the money and submitted documents, the teller told me that I will have to wait for 2-3 weeks for my card to be delivered. So I assumed she was talking about working days so I counted the days and called them Feb 26. That is, what I expected, that my card should be delivered but then the customer service rep told me my card is still processing, which I have no idea why since its an Instacard not just a regular credit card application. So, giving the benefit of the doubt, I waited for ONE MONTH for my card. March 4 I called again and they said thats my card is already approved and I will receive it by March 5.. Then comes March 5 and there's still no RCBC Instacard knocking on my door!! I called today, March 9, and the customer representative told me I will receive my card by Friday, March 11. wow!! I should have returned my professional license as a chemical engineer since my education did not advised me that a Credit Card Company and A Famous bank can fool me like this. ITS A NO NO NO NO NO TO RCBC BANKARD GUYS!!!

delivery of voucher for my reward points
I am a client of rcbc bankard for 10 years and I'm very disappointed. I redeemed my reward points by calling the customer service and advised that the voucher will be delivered after 3 to 5 banking days. I followed up several times and called the customer service hotline and all I got was different reasons that it was holiday season that's why it took so long. I called last Dec 10 until today I still hasnt received the voucher they promised. Is this the kind of treatment a 10 yr client deserve from a respectable card corporation. I tried to talk to a supervisor but no one was available. I would like to know an update on my request. The reward points promo encourages the clients to use their credit cards but do you think I will still use my card to earn points after what I experience now I will think twice if I will still use my rcbc credit card or even refer it to my friends and relatives .

NEW CARD
My bankcard credit card was expired last year and I'm now abroad. I sent tons of messages to Contact US and even emailed them using the [email protected] but still no action regarding renewing my card. Unlike in HSBC, they set an appointment to call me because of the timezone difference and sent my new card thru DHL (that's quality customer service!!!).
I have a good credit standing and I was thinking are they just lazy or no brains at all to accommodate us especially those who are outside the Philippines? I have another card, mastercard which will expire next year and I don't want to waste my money to travel back to the Philippines just to debate this issue. I have requested them to cancel my credit cards but since I can use it abroad (my card was connected to Paypal), I told them I will continue to use and will pay the balances online banking. I hope someone from bankard will stumble upon this website. They are too vigilant in collecting debts and sending notices. Another thing, the online banking statement didn't arrive on time. I even asked them to refresh my subscription because they have terminated it without informing me.
Pathetic bank.

bt d aq mk access sa e statement ko...n lagi meron aq message na sa roaming ko ksi po nsa abraod aq....stating a certain bnkard number w/c d ko nman bnkard number....actually nk enroll aq sa BLOCK COLLECTION acct.....n bnigyn aq certain amt na dpat byaran.....so binabayaran ko nga n supposedly mtatapos na aq mgbyad ang problema bothered aq sa lgi message from my raomong na kesyo meron dpat i settle na amt due w/c almost a year na aq d nkkgamit ng creditcrd ko ksi nga nailagay kmi sa FREEZE acct na un nga nka block collection aq n un nga hindi acct number ko ang nk message dun pero lgi p rin...n ang hirap contakin kyo from broad.....now sn b puede mk access na may mk usap na personal assistance tnx
