I had rented redbox movies more than 100 times. Last night I tried to rent two movies, the machine took my credit card number, zip code, and email address. The movies never dispensed. I called the 800 number, the associate was clueless, rude, and kept telling me I had reserved the movies on line, and he could only issue a one day credit. I NEVER GOT THE MOVIES, and now I will get charged $24.99 EACH for movies I never got!!! This was more than a 30 minute ordeal in the cold night and snow, and his comment to me was "that's not my problem". Wow. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE...btw...in the half hour I was there, with the computer screen frozen on their machine MULITIPLE customers approached and said the same has happened to them, and the machine is broken a lot of the time. WHAT A RIP OFF...

If you reserved the movies online, then yes, you'll be charged for each disc for ONE night. If you are unable to pick up your reservation, for whatever reason, before 9 PM the next day the charge will go on your card. After that time, the reservation expires & Redbox will not charge your card anymore money. So I am not sure where you think you will be charged $24.99 for each of the discs you did not receive. You will just be charged for that first nights rental. The reason the associate gave you the one day credit was the cover the cost of the movies you were unable to watch- so essentially, that credit is good for the next disc you rent being completely free & on Redbox.
