My name is Dr Madhavaranga.I am a practising Ophthalmologist with 2 postgraduate degrees.I have 8 international PUBLICATIONS.
I purchased Renault duster awd ,adventure edition,from Trident Renault, JP NAGAR ,Bengaluru,INDIA.I received delivery on 31st July 2017.The very next day I observed STEERING RACK NOISE.I informed the dealership.They asked me to get in touch with the local service station.The nearest service station happens to be Nagashanti Renault,at Hubli.I drove the car to them on 12th August 2017.They examined the vehicle and told me there is nothing wrong with the vehicle.I own 4 more cars ,Mercedes,TOYOTA and VW.This was a disappointing remark, I went again on 3rd day.This time they agreed on NOISE from STEERING RACK.They also told me to keep driving,without solving the issue.Being an auto connoisseur,I could not stand the NOISE.I removed STEERING RACK from my Duster and fitted it with STEERING RACK from my friends Duster.As expected the NOISE DISAPPEARED.
I REGISTERED A COMPLAINT WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE.THE COMPLAINT NO IS 03983325.I requested a pickup and drop,which the service station complied with.They kept the car for 13 days and refitted the STEERING and returned the machine..The STEERING wheel is abnormally tight and there are lots of vibrations.
My sincere request to Renault France would be to seriously look into this issue.If a doctor like me has to go through this ,imagine the plight of common man.Actually I deserve a new car,because I have paid the full invoice amount and it's not a used car.The chassis no of my vehicle is MEEHSRCFNGB001215.AND THE ENGINE NO IS,K9KR858DO51956.I would request Mr Carlos Ghosn ,the responsible CEO to kindly look into this issue and not force me to take further actions.I completely understand the FRONT SUSPENSION of a monocoque machine and i am sure the STEERING RACK OF MY vehicle has to be replaced.It is very unbecoming and inappropriate of a REPUTED COMPANY LIKE yours to behave in such a rude and arrogant way.(The service station people at Hubli did not discourage me from going to court of law.).Kindly look to the fact that I deserve a new machine or at LEAST change the entire STEERING RACK,at LEAST.HOPE RENAULT FRANCE WOULD NOT DISAPPOINT ME LIKE THEIR INDIAN COUNTERPART
