To whom this may concern.
This is the second vehicle I have purchased and I have to bring the following to your attention. This vehicle should not be automatic and Im very disappointed in my purchase.
I purchased a 2018 Renault Kwid 1.0 Dynamique Auto from Bidvest Nissan McCarthy Mooi Street in March 2019. When I bought the vehicle it has 6900 on the clock, and the first issue I experienced was a Malfunction light that looks like a heartbeat machine, which Renault sorted. According to Renault Bryanston this was a factory fault issue and was common amongst the kwids. This item was replaced but the car is still not 100% and here is what I am experiencing:
Consequently the car has had her first service at 6900 and not at 10 000 as per her service book.
Amongst this issue I had I have been experiencing the following with this vehicle, which according to my experiencing with a previous auto should not occur:
>The car shudders when you slow down quickly, it vibrates – to me this is a safety issue
>The idling is also out, when you are stationary the idol is bad it feels like the car is going to cut off.
>When the vehicle is in drive mode, (experienced in traffic) it seems to get stuck at high ref and doesn’t gear down until I actually stop the vehicle or slow down.
>When the Gears Shift (for my automatic) you can actually feel and see it. Normally functioning for an automatic keeps your ride smooth during gear shifts but not in this vehicle’s case.
>Then there is also the issue of constant air bubbles when filling the vehicle with fuel. When the air bubble happens the car does fill to its capacity, and inside on the dashboard the level of the fuel is not completely showing to the top as it should.
>The car rolls a lot when you are on an incline. Automatic vehicles should not roll.
