I bought a Renualt Kadjar 2016 model in 2017 at Renualt (Clairwood), in December 2018 the vehicle broke down and it was towed back to Renualt (Clairwood). They inspected the problem and I was informed that it had a clutch problem and had to pay R29 000 for the repairs by replacing the clutch and also they told me it wasn’t covered under the warranty. In June 2020 (1 and half years later) it had the same clutch problem so it was towed again back to the same dealership and now they want me to pay R39 000 cash. This is very heartbreaking because in less dan 2 years I must fork out R68k just for fixing the car. I’m seriously not happy with the Renualt because I do sense that they might be replacing with poor quality parts. It can’t be that a car needs to change a clutch in such short period, this has caused a major emotional breakdown and regression of even ever purchasing this car or even dealing with Renualt. I’m now left alone with such a hefty bill to settle without any proper knowledge of what is really going on at Renualt or even with the car itself This will need to taken up legally because it can’t be that this problem is a result of negligent driving because I have been driving for more than a decade and this my second vehicle. 95
