I would like to share a story with public so that more people will not be hurt by the bad practice of this individual.
Mr. Sandor Smajda (Alex) and his company, Richmond Homes Ontario, promised to start construction of my detached garage before July 27, 2015 and finish by August 27, 2015. The period of construction is approx. 4 weeks. It is October 29, 2015 today. 13 weeks passed. His company has finished the work only up to wall framing (see photos attached).
In the past three months, I have spent a lot time and have made great effort in chasing him to make the progress. He promised to come the next day, but broke the promises most times. Even though his workers come, they work a few hours, then leave because the materials supplied by Mr. Sandor Smajda (Alex) and his brother Joseph are only used for a few hours work. The work is substantially delayed. The winter is coming. The construction is hard to carry out in the winter. Our family are very frustrated by Mr. Sandor Smajda (Alex) .
The stockpile of soil and construction waste have been in my backyard since the work started (see photo attached). Dust environment makes my neighbors upset.
