Rogers Cable customer service is ill trained and ill mannered. If you have a problem they cannot solve it.
We cancelled our Rogers internet service and Rogers phone service, a long time ago because of the terrible customer service, and went with a competitor (Happy ever since).
Unfortunately Rogers have a monopoly on cable service in our area. I wish the legislators would force competition in Cable TV like they did in phone service.

I agree. Rogers customer service is pathetic, and that doesn't even cover it. I have had a similar customer service problem, wherein the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I had a trainee sign me up on the wrong phone pkg, cost me a fortune. I was living out in an area where internet service was poor if available at all (depending on the weather). The phone connection wasn't much better, with static and dropped calls. But, because it took me so long to get into the city and lodge a complaint, they wouldn't credit me! And trust me...they rec'd a good 6 mths of payments in one month with this mistake! And my personal pet peeve - you can never speak to anyone in person about billing problems! Why? What are they afraid of? Very suspicious behaviour as far as I'm concerned. Then; once I had someone change my pkg to the one I initially wanted - I went to their store to verify this & guess what? They had once again, signed me up on the wrong phone package!? Inefficiency at it's Best! That's Rogers!...and I could go on...but maybe later...just consider this fair warning...if you go with rogers...you'll pay dearly for it...
