I started work a Ross Dress For Less on Labor Day afternoon. I came worked there after that about three to four more days after that. A total of four or five in all. I quit my job and moved on. I called the store and talked to one of the managers there and was told they could mail it because I had transportation issues. Waited approx two to three days, never showed up. I called the store and talked to the manager that hired me. He did say there was a policy on mailing but he said he would get it sent off ASAP. I kept calling and checking the mail with no success. Out of the many days I called I never got a return call back. So thinking last Friday was payday (supposedly), and waiting about four weeks I decided to visit the store to see what the problem was. I first was told it wasn't payday, second I was shunned by the manager who claimed he did all that he could assuming he was going to get another check cut, and third he gives me some payroll phone number who asks me for the company code which is the last thing that pissed me off being he didn't know it. He said I would have to talk to his manager Tuesday. I feel I should be compensated fully and I at the time I walked out of Ross didn't think it was going to happen.
