I wouldnt think that a company can be held responsible for someones wishes. If he wanted the lawn party than the damages should have been anticipated.
Royal Members Events and Services should not be held responsible.

The OP should have known chairs and tables, along with a large group of people trampling on his lawn was going to result in some damage. That's just common sense. If it was not in the contract that the company would repair damage to the lawn, the company is not at fault.

You have a party on your lawn and hire someone to throw a party on your lawn and now you cry about the grass? It is grass, Hell you walk on it. I doubt sitting on it is going to hurt it more.
