On the 19th of May 2012, my husband and I were looking for queen size bed frame and mattress. This guy who look like an old ah beng with golden shoulder length hair and claim he is a designer and mattress specialist who is not always there so can give us discount super friendly, and tell us the bed frame everything can customise, which hubby and I were attracted as the bedframe look quite designer. The problem came when he introduce the 2 premium mattresses he claimed he also shortlist and bought one of them (the one he highly recommend to us). What upset me is I asked him very specifically if it was made in china, and he very loudly said no! I don't sell things from china 'cause I super hate things made there, this is made in US, it's a US brand. Indeed my hubby and I saw a logo with an American flag, and the sign there said it has 20 year warranty. We were thinking oh well perhaps it's cheaper 'cause they don't spend as much on adverts which is prob why we never hear before unlike Simmons Sealy Serta that kind (hubby and I bought furniture from Defu before and very pleased so quite trust such private furniture companies, never expect fraud) so we agreed to buy.

To my horror when I went home, I google AngelDream to show my mum hubby and my purchase, I found it's not only made in china, its company hotline country code is starting with +86 (which is china lar!!!) I was very very upset at the very direct lie the so-called designer told us. To be frank when I asked about is it made in china, I have no thoughts of expecting it to be made in US at such a price (I am a believer of the saying u pay peanuts u get monkeys), I just thought maybe made in Malaysia or Thailand or what. Why did he choose to make such a blatant lie I have no idea, also to be honest they were having somewhat a roadshow so we really thought it was a special price. Btw, beware!! The mattress they sell us is usual price 5k+ but they cancel out and put 2k+ and he even cut price to 1k+ when we tell him we got budget.

Really really upset that such an established furniture shop in SG is like that!
