I am reaching to make a complaint about this company Safe and Sound Visitation in San Diego. I have had many issues with this company, the owner Carol Lumahan and the monitor Dana Davis for weeks. So much so that they are to communicate only to my attorney. When I requested they follow their own company’s policies and procedures, the owner continues to argue back and forth with me, then informs my attorney that I follow the court orders. I requested in the initial intake form that they did not go to non custodial parent’s home due to history of child abuse, my daughter’s concerns were disregarded. That is why the other party is on supervised visitations. The issues with this company has been ongoing to the point I requested for order through the courts to change visitation facilities. Again the owner states that they are not doing anything wrong and that I needed to follow the court orders. I requested they change monitor, Dana Davis, for submitting a report in which was used in court that stated not only did they bring my daughters to non custodial parent’s apartment, but in the report Dana Davis had conversed with my children and assured them that she will try to not let daddy take them away. Which is another violation of their own policies and that of monitors to be unbiased during the duration of visitations.

An incident occurred where police were involved and they allegedly found drugs in my children’s lunch box I and their great grandmother packed for them. There is a clear understanding that items are checked before the visitation, to include a lunchbox I packed for my children. I find it absurd that I would do anything to jeopardize my children’s safety. When I requested information regarding what happened the owner informed me that police will reach out. Then when I asked the monitor she informs me she was too exhausted to talk about what happened and that she has had three back to back visitations and that she’d been up for 24 hours. They will not tell me what happened. When we got home my daughter is continually crying telling me she doesn’t want anyone taking them away from me. I asked why would she say that. She then tells me that when she was in the vehicle getting ready to leave she physically saw non custodial parent putting drugs in the form of pills in a bag in their lunchbox and that she screamed to the monitor THREE times that the drugs was non custodial parent’s. The monitor told my daughter to be quiet and proceeds to call police. Police came and made reports. I was not informed of the incident, I was given the run around to where I can pick up my children and was refused debrief on what happened.

This company has a personal vendetta against against me for bringing my concerns to the court. So much so that the owner submitted 53 pages of her claiming she follows regulations and in that statement she wrote she was “personally offended” by my request to change monitor or facility. Their intentions are to incriminate me so I may lose custody of my children and to taint my reputation to the judge. They have intentionally disregarded my child when she was telling them what she saw, which is putting them in jeopardy in the hands of this facility.

Because of this incident that took place, I may loose custody of my children and they would go to the other parent. The non custodial parent has had history of child abuse, that’s why my daughter refused to go to her home. She has packed drugs in our two year olds lunchbox where CPS and police as well as the school were involved. She has had domestic violence in her home with her other children’s father. She has had restraining orders placed on her for attacking other people. She has been order to seek counseling for anger management, child abuse and the affects it has on children, domestic violence issues, to be medically evaluated for disorders, and to seek therapy until released by provider. I will be losing the custody of my children because of the reckless behavior and actions this company has orchestrated to incriminate me. I will make a report with every platform until this issue gets resolved. I am innocent in this matter and refuse to let my children be placed in the home of an abuser. This company needs to be reprimanded for crimes against persons and violations of drugs.
