July 2014, I ordered something from a company that would take care of slow performance on my computer. Last month I received a notice that $19.95 would be taken out of my checking account. The company was Safecart, who I have never heard of, and never signed up for this tech support on a monthly basis.
When I called them, they were absolutely no help, and said they could not refund any dollars that were taken out of my account more then thirty days old. After arguing with someone that just kept repeating the same statements over and over, as if he was reading from a script, I finally hung up.
This company had no right to take money from me, when I never signed or agreed to some sort of tech service. They are thieves in my eyes, and action should be taken against them.
Why are they allowed to take advantage of so many people that have the same complaints I have spoken about?
