Being followed and harrassed by employee and one particular security guard

I am a employee of Safeway in Stockton CA, country club Blvd. Store, I have been employed with them for about a month maybe a little greater , and now recently over the last week I wanna say.. one particular employee and one particular security guard has been following me, and watching me hard where ever I go.. wheather im on shift or off shift, I have given absolutely no reason for any of this.. and I am honestly upset that this is even going on..

assistant manager--Robyn

I have never encounter such rudeness from this Robyn individual, who is and assistant manager at 47/Indian school, in Phoenix::Her attitude is very very unprofessional,, she made me feel as tho it was a bother to question her regarding a product that was on sale::I don't like using the race card--but this is the way she may me feel::I watched as she grinned an smile at others who by the way were white:: She turned her back on me, as it was my turn to ask a question::I've been told by friends that this Safeway management are rude an seem to show favorism towards whites. I am forwarding this to corporate--as to the need to send her to sensitivity training. Perhaps other management personnel--should attend as well

Employee

Shopped at Safeway in conifer many years, due to lack of checkers I have had to go to Self check out service,, I have found the lady there is not very nice and moody most of the time,, She was rather rude when I asked for help while she was texting behind the candy rack,, I asked if she was paid for that and she was very rude and short, she then walked over to customer service area and started talking to another employee,, this is the third time I have had the misfortune to have dealing with this lady,, bangs longer dark hair,, I shop between 6 and 7 pm on Sundays and Wed. and its the same person,, The checkstand checkers are always so pleasant and do the most work while the self checker seem to have little to do and does the least amount of work to be having such a bad attitude,, Her name is not on the receipt, thought it started with an S, any way not a very pleasant person,

Fuel Gift Cards

A person went out of her way to get me a Fuel Gift Card from Safeway for doing a small favor for her. The problem being there is no gas station at this Safeway, so I went to Chevron where I turn in the points I receive from shopping at Safeway and was told they do not except fuel gift cards. I live in rural area in Cornville AZ. and to my knowledge there is not a Safeway gas station near enough to me to use the card. For me to go get gas with this card I would use all my gas up goin to and from the gas station. Any suggestions, like where is the nearest Safeway gas station near my location? Or why isn't Chevron gas not excepting Safeway cards.Or atleast have Safeway employees tell customers that it can only be reimbursed at Safeway gas Stations, From now on I'll be getting my food and gas from Fry's with a gas station almost across.

Pharmacy

Pharmacy computer system does not work and you are charged on your insurance as well as off your insurance and unless you watch your co-pay closely they will over charge you. Also in 2 years they have not gotten one order correct. Not ready when they say. The wrong number of doses. No record that they have an order but find it if you wont leave until they find it. The turnover is daily so no one knows the customers and can work a problem through to completion. I am moving my business and will never purchase from the Safeway Company again. Safeway and Albertsons is a race to the bottom

Pharmacy

The pharmacy here has a habit of shorting my prescription . I talk to the pharmacist and their reply is I counted twice. There is nothing that they can do. Shorting me on my tablets is their fault and unprofessional. Thank you for your attention to this

Safeway homer ak

Everytime i go to safeway in homer they overcharge me everytime!!!! There are no other safeways in homer so i have no choice!!! So they don't care. So i wait in ilne at customer service I'm not mad or upset until the clerk Tasha helps me she is an awful clerk. Makes me feel bad that they overcharged me!!! She has never been pleasant EVER!!! I am so angry now i will not go back. We do have another store to go to where i will be treated better!!! Also the pharmacy is awful horrible sherry parrish is the worst!!! I now take all my scripts to another pharmacy!! These people should not have jobs that deal with the public!!!!!

Front Door Agressive Donation Request

You must stop and eliminate the staging of individuals pestering patrons for donations at all of Safeway stores. Not only are the tactics a form of harrassment but the same guilt trip panderiing is installed on the point of sale screens prior to making payment.

Safeway, Inc. has more than enough funds to contribute to the causes that are allowed to pander patrons. I donnate through work and church.

Stop allowing this practice to exist it is very tacky and a nuisiance.

conduction of manager hullyo of tomthumb/safeway

I was working for this company for a well as of August the 6th of 2015 I had to go to the emergency room for having very bad brocotise from the throat and chest and when I went to the emergencey room they took xrays of my chest and throat and put me on medications for 10 days. one of the doctors gave me a form to returne on the 8th of August that was to soon for me I was filling very bad and coughing from the chest and throat. I just could not take it. I had told my produce manger that I was not filling well that my chest is on fire and could not hardly breath. I went back to the ER on Wednesday of the 8th of august they admitted me for the same simptions got worst and it was a infection of being in the cooler the director name gabbrel was not there when I was there on the 8th he was coming in at 8:00am that day the lady soma was manager at the time she told me I have to wait until he comes I told her that my chest and throat was hurting very bad I had told my produce manager name hullyo he knows that I was still sick sunday the 6th of august and could not be in the cooler in my condition after the 10 days that the doctor want me to recover and I text hullyo and told him that they gave me three day notification that I will be out until Tuesday when I returned to work. so I come in Tuesday of returning to work of being sick I have asked amber why I would not clock in to work. for my recovery she said she did not know I said ok so ive waited almost 2hours for the store director to get there went to his office and he said I quote there was some this that was said first and most forate is I was not informed of any write up of any reason until I returned on Tuesday morning ive been out of the store August 6th and the 8thuntil the 15th of august im making that clear. I had call amber McFadden on Wednesday the 8th she did not pick up the phone so ive left her a voice mail for her to call me back she didn't hullyo knows that ive been in contacting him about the situation and he should be incountibal for is action and try to act like ive didn't let him know ive text him and called him motibal times since ive be ill and when they did the schedule hullyo didn't let them know I would not be the on that sunday or Monday and they put me on the list anyways ive had now idiea what was going on I did not sigh any forms of any papers that me or the manager had any comfrance at all until I returne on Tuesday mornig you can call me 2145379405 kanisha ford

overcharges

I am consistently overcharged when I shop at Safeway on Yulupa. The errors are always in the store's favor. They cheerfully refund the amount overcharged after I make a special trip back to the store and wait in a line at customer service with my cash register receipt in hand.

They have no respect for the customer's time. I have learned to check my receipt but think about all the folks who don't catch the myriad of mistakes.

I feel this is not accidental as it is too often and always shorting me.

Carrier Base

Why Safeway stated that they don't work with Brokers and only with carriers but allows United World Cargo (Transportation) to move their product from one city to another clearly knowing that they don't have trucks and that they are brokers.

This completely unfair with us that we followed Safeway selection process. It seems that some money has changed hands to grease the wheels.

It is very clear why Safeway do not work with brokers, but what is not clear is why Safeway is working with United World Cargo(Transportation) is a BROKER and has been a broker for over 10 years, why this has been allowed? With this practice UWT is affecting carriers and at the same time Safeway, who is getting a benefit of having UWT as a service provider?

Why everyone at Safeway is giving the blind eye to this situation?

safeway store

the staff at the kingman safeway pharmacy, including the two pharmacists, are not at all trained in good customer service. three months in a row the can't seem to have my meds ready at the promised time. after standing in a long line for way too long, i am giving the good news they don't have it ready. no apology, just lame excuses. this is the last time i use safeway for my meds. safeway really doesn't care about customers anymore. that's ok though. i just switched to smiths'.

Poor Service Person In Charge 'FRANK'

I've been shopping your store located at 4th & King for over 3years, I have a Service Animal... Every one knows us.. No
problems until this morning ..when the Person In Charge 'FRANK' come over to me and asks if my dog is a service animal?
I said he was and showed him our service animal tag.. which in every store including your other San Francisco Safeway's
that is more than enough... well not for Person In Charge 'FRANK' he wanted to know what services my dog provides.. I
responded with many.. which is indeed the truth... I am a disabled person who also suffers with Diabetes.. And My Dog,
Wakes me Every Day.. and See's that I exercise several times aday and helps me with other things as well.. I tell you this
so that you realize that I answered honestly.. also it is none of Person In Charge 'FRANKS' business.
I understand that store personnel have been updated with asking.. however the California Law States.. that once the Official
State Tag is shown.. ' All Is Well' and the person with their dog may continue and may not be refused.
Frank argued with me and said I had to leave the store.. which both are improper behavior.. I guarantee if it were the Store
Manager who came to ask me if my dog was a service animal my answer would have been enough and the end of story..
I know this for a fact because I shop several Safeway's in the area; Franks behavior is unacceptable and I think He needs
further training in both customer service and how to be a true Person Person In Charge. I would appreciate this complaint being forwarded to persons in charge of Store Customer Service and dealt with swiftly.. So There Are NO Further Situations such as this. I would also like a response email notifying me that it has indeed been read and what action is being taken to guarantee this not happening to any other person with a service animal in this store again. I was so upset I left the store without my receipt.

Incompetence

I've been going to this Safeway Pharmacy since it's opened over 10 years now, and with each passing year the service, ......well...there isn't ANY!, The amount of errors they make is off the charts!!, Like my Doctor wouldn't fill my Blood Preasure Meds, Left word with Safeway Pharmacy for me to make an appointment to be seen so I can get a refill, no problem, he left me a 3 day supply at Safeway until I can get in to see him. The next day I see my Dr go to Safeway to pick up ALL my Meds and 2 of my bottles which ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A 30 DAY SUPPLY ARE ONLY THE 3 DAY SUPPLY AFTER HE ELECTRONICLY SUBMITTED THE NEW PRESCRIPTIONS TO THEM THE NEXT DAY EARLY MORNING!! EVERY OTHER MEDICINE THAT I EVER GET FROM THEM IS ALWAYS A 30 DAY SUPPLY!!!! WHOS MONITORING THESE PEOPLE??? The PHARMICIST MANAGER IS CINDY COON, ISNT SHE TRAINING HER STAFF?? Aren't there check points?? If I had not opened the bag to check my Meds in the store, ( because they always screw up) I'd been down the road or even home and have to come back because of there negligence!!!
This is WHAT I'M REALLY WRITING ABOUT TODAY! And for me.....the final act of INCOMPETENCE BY SAFEWAY PHARMACY MANAGER CINDY COON.....IM ON SOCIAL SECURITY AND DISABLED, ONE OF MY MEDS IS A PAIN KILLER FOR MY EXTREMELY MESSED UP BACK. ON SEVERAL OCASINS I HAVE GONE TO THIS SAFEWAY AND THEY HAVE SAID, WE DONT HAVE ENOUGH TO FILL YOUR PERSCRIPTION!!! CINDY COON THE MANAGER ALWAYS TELLS ME TO CALL AHEAD SO SHE CAN ORDER AHEAD TO HAVE ENOUGH FOR THE DAY OF MY REFILL!!!!
I WAS LIKE WELL IF IM COMING EVERY 30 DAYS FOR THE SAME MEDICINE OF THE SAME QUANTITY, CANT YOU JUST ADJUST YOUR INVENTORY????
WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS??? WHY DO I STILL GO HERE??? poor quality of products and service

Hello, I have complained 6 or more time in the last 4-5 months. Your quality of products and service has degraded to an all time low. I know Albertsens has purchased Safeway for over 9 billion dollars, but it is obvious you just not care anymore about anything because the purchase. This time I was buying some items and got to the refrigerator that contains Fresh Select 6lb dog rolls for $14.39. The refrigerator unit was dead warm; not a speck of cold. I opened it up and the smell of decaying dog food was overwhelming. Just think some customers may have given this garbage to their dogs and now thier dogs maybe sick. ALL BECAUSE YOUR COMPANY DOES NOT GIVE A SHIT about customers anymore. You screw with customers and that is one but when you screw with their dogs; quite another. I went to the Manager/Asst Manager and told him to follow me. He seemed reluctant, and non-caring when I pointed it out. He would not open the refrigerator and said "Yea I can see the rolls are popping, I don't need to open it up" At that point I checked out with $30 of groceries and did not get anything more. That is it for me. I will now be a King Super shopper and I am going to spread this news like wildfire on Facebook. Albertsens needs to know what they have purchased and it sure as hell is not a company that cares about customers. HAD ENOUGH!!! Here comes Facebook!!!!

produce is rotten

My parents went into the Safeway on 5th and Lincoln in yakima washington to buy items for salsa my mother is a diabetic and has a very special diet with a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables in it I live by 5th and it is the store we shop at we buy everything there and it greatly up set her to find all the produce was very badly wilted and rotting. I my self have bought produce from this same store and gotten it home to find the same thing we both recently bought watermelon and cantaloupe there and they were no good I took the watermelon back and was given a replacement for it but my mother get embarrassed and feels like she is bothering some one if she makes a complaint or tries to return anything as she has a very limited income and gas to go back marks a toll on her as well as any stress involved she has a bad heart as well during this last visit to the store which happened to night 06/24/12 there were no bags in the department for the produce and there were slimmy and rotted cilantro and rotted tiny jalapenos the tomato's were rotten on the ends the potatos were past there pull date and when my father called it in and spoke to Joanne the assistant manager she told him that they had just worked the department that morning I work for safeway and I know how a worked produce department looks and that one is not being cared for properly and asking disabled people on a fixed income to except that is not right as I work for safeway I know that you will help fix this problem and I hope that no one else is treated this way My mothers name is Jill and My fathers name is Jack Gunter and you can reach them at 509-759-1923 I appreciate any and all help you can give in this
