I go on vacation in between work assignments and have been picking up my medication early. It is not a controlled substance and I pay out of pocket since I don't have insurance. Gina K at the Safeway pharmacy at Rainier who says she's the manager, has been filling my medication for months with no problem. Today she refused to because she's "not comfortable" with me picking up medication early. I explained that I'll be gone this whole month and told her if I run into travel problems coming home, I want to make sure I don't run out of medication. There doesn't seem to be a new rule in place denying non-controlled medication to be picked up early. Gina told me I should try another company's pharmacy. Considering she's pushing me to another pharmacy for some made up reason in her head, I won't be returning to that Safeway and am filing a formal complaint.
