The IRS accepted and sent my refund (direct deposit ) on March 16,2015. After many days of calling my bank with nothing showing up, I called the IRS, my bank, Intuit Turbo tax and FINALLY Santa Barbara Bank. A guy named George told me that there was suspicious activity and they couldn't release my check until I proved my ID with a state/federal ID. The IRS had sent them my check because of Turbo tax fee's. The fee's are $124 (my refund was over $20,000). This is a scam to use my money to get interest on SANTA BARBARA'S BANK ACCOUNT. ....ALWAYS PAY YOUR TURBO TAX FEE WITH A CREDIT CARD WHEN YOU FILE. This will keep Santa Barbara from holding your refund. I am so upset that I would NEVER recommend using Turbo Tax. I feel they are working with Santa Barbara Bank to hold refunds.

i filed my taxes on 01/26/2016 and opted for turbo tax to deduct fees from my refund. turbo tax sent my refund to who id like to call satan-santa barbara bank. my refund was issued 02/10/2016 to these thugs. today is 03/17/16 and i still have no refund, infact i have called the irs everyday that i call these thugs and the irs stated they do not request funds back as satan-santa barbara bank stated they did. i called an attorney yesterday just because i am about to sue the horns off of these people!! then i called them to let them know what the irs said and also that they will soon hear from my lawyer. they transferred me to a "higher up person" who identified herself as a "lead" not a supervisor like i requested, judy id number 11200/ she told me my refund is not pending to go to the irs now it is in the process and can take up to 1-2 business days before they get it back. wow. i am still filing a lawsuit because i dont believe one word and i would if i were you record every conversation you have with these people. they are natural thugs and the irs needs to be aware..they are doing this to people.
