Hurt badly at work in 2017. Left over 15 professional VMs to Sara Foss at Sedgwick. No calls back. Kept going for care but then was told by Sarah Foss months into my claim I was at the wrong place and was sent to an occupational medicine clinic. Occupational medicine doctor was great she did everything she needed to do by sending me to physical therapy. Listening to my plite and serious delay of care with Sara Foss at claims adjuster and her rude behavior. My doctor would send me to therapy’s and wouldn’t we wouldn’t hear from Sedwick if it was approved or not so there was more delay in my Care. Next my doctor ordered an MRI when my physical therapy was not helping my injury. It took forever for the MRI to get approved. MRI came back stating I needed surgery in order for my whole upper extremity to work again. I waited forever to get the surgery approved. My doctor did the right thing documented my concerns the claims adjuster at sedgwick Seriously delayed my medical care. Sarah Foss sent an an inflammatory defamation of character letter to my physician claiming my physician gave the delay in care by not getting me to care I needed in time. This was fraud and a fabrication. Sedgwick delayed my medical care 100%. My doc Did everything in her power to refer me and get me to care I needed in the proper amount of time... then said but tries to blame it on my doctor that I didn’t get care? I’m reporting them to the state insurance board. Sedgwick is negligent insurance patient care. they Make patients suffer because of their lack of (do no wrong/ harm) when handling claims.
