Hi,

We are really exasperated due to the reason that my spouse Debit card has been blocked by your Customer service Reps,

In the Morning I called up RAK bank to inform them that my spouse is not interested in any credit cards since I'm not
on the savings(debit card account) the Rep without informing Blocked our Savings account debit card as she received a
message stating card has been blocked which is certainly not a Good Experience as a First time customer with RAK bank,

When i called back another Rep advised that its the banks Policy to Block the card if any person who is not listed on
the account calls up now having said this it was your banks duty to at least call up the account holder to check if she has authorized
her spouse to call and deal instead of blocking the card due to this in case of emergency Funds cannot be Withdrawn from the card which is certainly not a smart thing to do,

Also Keeping in Mind Customer security as a priority your Reps could have at least double checked by liaising with the account

holder (my Spouse) before causing this great deal of Inconvenience or could have also mentioned in your welcome kit that the

account holder needs to specifically call up for any queries on his or her account this certainly educates a layman as he or she is

aware that you need to specifically speak to the acct holder and will alleviate the hassles that one has to face in the aftermath.
