ScoreSense

The issue started back in November 2017, when a client I was working with needed his credit report in order to ensure he did not have any negative information on his credit report that would prevent him from renting an apartment in the future. He found the score sense site and requested using it to get his credit report. He did not own a credit card and I used my company credit card that was to be used as a guarantee for future payments if he wished to use the service each month. The score sense sight was offering a free credit report and stipulated that when a customer cancels the service within thirty days the credit card on file would not be billed. When the scoresense company was contact within the thirty days to cancel the credit card the representative informed me that because I was not the customer I had no authority to cancel the service. I informed the representative that I was the customer's case manager and that the card on file did not belong to the customer and that it was a corporate credit card not to be used for personal reasons. The representative insisted on speaking with the client. I advised the representative that the client was not available as he had left the program and could not be found. I informed my HR Accounting Manager who tried to cancel the card on three separate occasions through them and through our credit card company Chase Bank, but to no avail. Therefore my company which is a non-profit that houses, feeds as well as clothes the homeless has been charged as of July 2018 $359.50. This company has rules in place that do not protect the consumer in that if they would have looked into the situation they would not have authorized the use of another persons credit card on a customer's account.
I would like someone to contact me about this matter as it is urgent. We are planning to take legal action. Ms. Rhodes

ScoreSense scam

This has been happening to me for months!!! I know the deadline to file a claim is past, but close to $400 was taken out as direct debits by this company!! Not to mention $114 IN INSUFFICIENT FUNDS FEES!!!!! I have disputed this with the bank, but PLEASE HELP ME TO KNOW: HOW DO I GET ALL THIS MONEY BACK THAT THEY TOOK FROM ME????!!!!!

Unauthorized money taken from my acount

On Friday, September 8th, I found out that your company had been taking unauthorized payments from my bank account. This had been going on since May 29th, 2015!!!! I am demanding my money back. I have never used your service (my record shows that). I have spoken to Cassie, Fernando, Alan, Tanora, Stacy and Jeff, who were all very friendly and tried to be helpful, but I have yet to receive my full refund!!! And no one from the main office has contacted me, sent an acknowledgement via email or anything. And none of your reps know the number to the corporate office, which I find unbelievable, but whatever. I am now preparing to contact a lawyer, the Federal Trade Commission, Josh Stein (AG of NC) and the NC Dept of Justice because of this matter. Fraud

I have never ever signed up for score sense yet they somehow got access to my account and stole a lot of money from me a single mother and caused my account to go in to overdraft a few times ...at times I had no money because they stole it from me ! Never once did I get one email or any thing notifying me of this ! They have not been helpful in helping me recover what they stole from me ....I am asking for an investigation into this company ...I can see they have a long history of doing this to innocent people , I need to do everything to expose this crime ...how do these people sleep at night ? Ti is shocking in this day that they can do this a innocent person ....sincerely Marion Curson .

Charges made without my authorization and without any notification

Obtained 'free' credit report ($1.00) from ScoreSense; they then began billing $29.98/month. This a fraudulent activity for which they have already settled one lawsuit. They and their ilk must be stopped.

I too was scammed did not know what that $29.98 was for each month until my daughter looked at my credit card bills and called them.....being elderly I thought it was a credit card charge......if there's a lawsuit include me.

contiued parasitic activity

Cancelled membership in April,l received confirmation to that affect,and they continue to pull $29.95 from my account since. They claimed that in April the phone call was cut short but they still continued parasitic activity into August. How could the phone call be considered cut short if I received a confirmation of membership cancellation?
Down right scurvy dog parasitic activity! Does anyone know of a good lawyer for this kind of activity?

money taken 29.95 from our bank account without permission

We had 29.95 taken from our bank account in April and May2014. My husband wanted to see our credit score which would cost a dollar and they took that amount out twice. We called them repeatedly and they declined to give our money back. We feel like we have been robbed being on a limited income. Scoresense is a scam and when I went on the bbb to file a complaint the place doesn't exist but scoresense in texas comes up on my bank statement. I'll call bbb tomorrow. Lisa

Scoresense

The site is scam. Most other websites have a box to click before going through to another screen for term and conditions. My wife and I were scammed and would love to Join a lawsuit against these guys. Once again saw the refundable 1 and credit card for verification. then seven days later a charge for 29.95. Should have emailed about payment being sent to them.

I did not give these people my cc Number

This company used my credit report to get my credit card number. I never authorized them to charge my card, nor did I get a free report from them. Is there a class action going against them?

Money taken out of my account without my permission

The same thing happened to me...when I saw there was a free trial period ...and then later I would be charged...I closed out the window ... when I called in the agent disagreed and stated that I had agreed to a $29.95 a month service charge. This is one of the most agregious rip offs I have ever heard of...why would anyone pay that much money ... almost $360 a year for a report that could be obtained almost anywhere for a minimum amount of money. They have you give your credit card number...thinking you would see the "free report" as it would identify you. Unbelievable that this can go on...Also, she kept saying many times the confirmation "email" would be in my "spam" folder...Don't know about anyone else...but I don't open Spam Folders or Junk emails. This definetly is a scam and I am sure if they sent me verification to my email I would have cancelled the next day!!

This company is a toatal fraud. They sent themselves up as a free credit report and then switch and bait by charging you $29.95 per month. When you claa their sales force, they claim that you had 7 days to cancle once you do lthe initail free report, but there site is not clear that you are actually signing up for a service. Additioanlly, once you cancle you end up paying another full month becasue they charge a month ahead so lthey lcaim you missed the cut-off period. SCAM SCAM SCAM

money taken out illegally

The same thing happened to me and they took out 29.95 w/o my permission or knowledge. I called the number and spoke to a girl who talked so softly and so fast I could not grasp her sentences. I was furious and told her to slow down and speak up.. What she was saying was she would have the billing dept. look at it and email me. I said I am NOT giving you my email address. I just changed it yesterday due to 15 spammers a day, ever since I went online to look into car insurance, and I am not going through that again..she said they can't write me... so I said if the money isn't back in the back in 4 days time, I am issuing a dispute with my bank, Wells Fargo. I told her that I am NOT a member, do not have an ID number and never did anything but pay a dollar through my bank for their credit report, which is what they had advertised.. they never advertised becoming a member and 29.95 whether once or more, I don' t know or care.. I am not putting up with this crap.

will not refund the money you pay a month in advanced

I am so pissed at Scoresense. I signed up for the free trial, $1.00 was taken off my card then $29.95 was taken off. I called customer service, the young lady was very nice, she said she would submit my cancellation and request for a refund. 3 days later I recieved the same email as debby090. I called customer service again, this time I got a smart mouthed guy, he said " well the company doesnt sit around looking to take money from (he said my name). Then he said he will submit another request. I already know what the next email will say. SAME THING. If anyone has a solution or even if there is a class action suit, please contact [email protected]

Not only is this company a fraud but their customer service SUCKS as well! After I found these extra charges on my account which clearly I didnt see the fine print they claim was on my screen they told me I will not be getting my refund. This was even after the fact the rep said I didnt use any of the "great perks" the members have access too! Ummm excuse all I needed was to compare their scores to what I already knew my score was previously. So I didnt need any more perks. FYI if a customer is not happy with the service it should not matter how long it takes for them to discover charges not approved, their choice should be honored because end the end its THEIR MONEY and THEIR CHOICE ON HOW TO SPEND IT. It shouldnt matter if they called 2 days after the free trial besides who really can remember how long a site claims a free trial to be if your only on their for a minute anyways.
BTW, the customer service are Sales Reps and will try their bes to sale you a dream and to stay with the company almost as worse as the pesty guy on the street trying to hound you to buy his newspaper and wont leave you alone!! OMG shut this company down ASAP!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM PPL... MAKE A BETTER CHOICE THAN I DID! If they werent such A-holes I might of not disputed the charges with my bank after it was all said and done. They have NO compassion!! I mean come on its human error we all have been mislead at times..SMDH **** SCORESENSE MAKES NO DAMN SENSE AND SHOULD BE CALLED MISLEADSENSE.COM
