Purchased a Kenmore Pro Refrigerator from Sears in Cadillac Michigan in December 2016. On June 23, 2018, the condenser went out. The parts were under warranty but the labor was not. The labor is $300. We could get the parts in 2 days through someone else but would have to pay for them and they cost about $300. Sears claims they could not get the parts for 7-10 days. The parts were sent to us by UPS. The repairman shows up on July 12th and one part is not there. He puts a tracer on the part and finds out that it was due to be delivered that day (whenever UPS delivers). He assured us he could be back in a few days. Now they tell us that he can't be back until July 23rd. The repairman told us though that all he would be doing is putting in another defective condenser and it could go out at any time.

Customer service at Sears is deplorable. All you do is get someone overseas. My husband told them he wanted to speak to someone in the United States. He got someone in the United States and she agreed that we should have a new refrigerator and she would have someone call us within the hour. No one called. We called customer service and we said we wanted to speak to someone in the United States, and they told us there was no way they could connect us with someone in the United States. Yet, just this morning they could.

Sears has breached their implied warranty of merchantability. They knowingly are selling this refrigerator with defective parts with no solution for this.
