Sears Elite Model 795.74025.411has been a real pain We have had it repaired several times. Currently we have had a Sears Home Service repair or replace plan. It has been over a month since the refrigerator has been broken. The Tech has been out 4 times to fix this refrigerator and has failed. He told us and sent this information to Sears Home Services that the refrigerator is not repairable. We have tried to contact Sears Home Service about this issue. We spend many hours with the customer services and received a call that they would send us a email in 24 to 48 hours with a conclusion to this item. We never received any information from Sears Home Services. We wrote Moments <[email protected]> and asked about some help with this issue. They replied saying that the replacement had not been approved. I have responded to Moments <[email protected]> that then they need to repair the refrigerator. They have not responded yet. I asked them for recommendations to proceed since I paid a monthly fee for repairs on my home appliances etc. It is truly amazing that Sears is such a poor managed company. I was a customer since 1971 and never had any problem until they became a private company.

Kenmore Elite French doors refrigerator model 74025. LG linear compressor silently died after 4 years (Jul 2015 - Aug 2019). The fridge got unattended for 2 weeks during vacation and got such bad rotten smell that I decided to replace it.

ADVICE: Buy a wireless thermometer for $20 and get a security camera (i.e. Wyze camera for $25) react on alarm from it to send you notification (https://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-Esnow-Refrigerator-Thermometer-Temperature/dp/B07CQQTYWR). This way you can save yourself $2.5k of a new fridge.

Shopped around and ended up with the same fridge as the best value for money and convenient controls, newer model 74305. Was told be a Sears repairmen that from Nov 2019 the newer model got LG compressor changed to Panasonic to fix the reliability problem.

For now I’m waiting for compressor to fail after 4 years and get it replaced under warranty.
