My washer will be 5 years old in April of this year 2013. March 22, 2013 part of the enamel fell in the tub. After reading everything on the internet I find this is an on going problem with the Sears Kenmore Elite Oasis Washers. Can anyone tell me if a class action law suit has been filed?

My washing machine is rusting away. Can Kenmore replace the top portion of the machine? Or are there any other solutions?

My washer started peeling and rusting. It's a few years old but you would think a washer wouldn't peel in the main area. It makes you feel like your clothes will be dirtier after you wash them than when you put them in. I'm trying to contact Sears to see if this is a recall or something Sears can help with.

I also have a Kenmore Oasis Elite that has extensive rust and the paint has peeled off on the inside. I contacted Kenmore about it and have yet to receive any response from them. I am beyond frustrated with this. The washer is only 3 years old and I take very good care of it and use it in the proper way as described both in the manual and how the Sears salesman told me when I first purchased it. I realize it's probably considered a "cosmetic" problem, but for the price I paid for this item, I shouldn't have to worry or deal with this. And my rust/paint issue also started well after the 90 day warranty was up.
