Refrigerator had problems from the beginning. Paid for repairs and warranties on more than one occasion for different reasons and am now dealing with a broken ice maker that has already been repaired once. Tried to call a local repairman because I was tired of dealing with Sears but the locals did not know how to repair or work on these models. I paid for service charge once for someone to come out but they could not fix it. The refrigerator has mold in it from the last repairman Sears sent out who told me to unplug it. I tried to clean it out but could not get in between the plastic parts and as a result I cracked the plastic in several places. I remodeled my kitchen a few years ago and bought all new high end appliances and now I have a dis functioning, molded, and cracked refrigerator with a broken icemaker and my old, 20 year old refrigerator is still running fine.
