Dear Sir/Madam:

My name is Ismail Dadabhoy. I have been in contact with Sedwick since 08/21/2019.
They did issue me a file #: L191014521-0001. And I was told that Media America was to
contact me, to figure out the repair work. I will be attaching the details with pictures of the
damage along with two estimates. But I didn’t know that a case Number had to be issued and
tendered. This was taken care by a real nice lady name Pionne who actually deserved
to be recognized for being such a customer service person and resolving my 6 month old dilemma.
She actually issued a case # 111058519 and requested me to write an email to Media America and a swift process will begin.
I shall very sincerely appreciate your assistance. The first email was sent on 2/6/2020. And I followed up 2/12/2020 and spoke to another Customer Care person named Kevin C.S 01821 and he really directed me to write this email. He did mention the importance of Case Number as well. I also would like to recognize Kevin for his manners & attitude, towards me and understanding my situation.

Sears Repair Service

I requested help with a phone call on Saturday September 14, 2019 for servicing and repairing my Maytag washer and was given:
(a) a date September 16, 2019 and a time window from 1.00 PM - 5.00 PM
(b) I would get a call 30 minutes prior to the arrival of the technician

I am a businessman and cancelled important client meetings for business to make sure that I was at home for that four hour window.
At about 4.53 PM, I get a text message that the Sears Tech is on the way. I repeat 4.53 PM!
To start with, it is just 7 minutes before the deadline of 5.00 PM. Then I get a call from the Tech at 5.23 PM who said he would be there any time after 6.00 PM.

Here's my grievance:
1. First of all, when I literally made a sacrifice of my business and income to be at home to honor the time window of four hours, Sears Service did not honor and respect the time of the customer.
2. I as a customer was taken for granted, where my time was of no consequence, and the Sears Service Team's actions were so
inconsiderate that the tech just said and I quote: I can be there any time after 6.00 PM! Which meant I have to be at my home to attend to the tech, and of course cancel even my evening appointments!

My questions to you Sears is?
1. Is the service being provided for FREE?
2. Do we/me as customers be taken for granted by giving us/me a window of FOUR hours ( which is half a work day) and then not turn up within the time window, and then going beyond that to be told that the tech would come ANY TIME after 6.00 PM?
3. Sears was quick in sending an email with the subject line: "Your Canceled Sears Appointment Confirmation," but did not have the basic decency to apologize for the delay. So does Sears feel that a customer HAS to comply with their time window etc. BUT has no responsibility when they do not respect the customer's time?

My washer still lies in my garage unattended, causing further inconvenience. Sears has wasted my time which is not acceptable. This of course makes my loyalty to it for the last several years as a bygone conclusion.

Kenmore LG Fridge Compressor

How can Sears sell a Kenmore refrigerator that is not a Kenmore? It’s an LG. I thought i bought a Kenmore which was the name I trusted. Same story though. Bad Compressor. Lost food. Bad service and runaround from Sears. Looking at this complaint board there are many with the same problem. I say a lawsuit is in order. Obvious Sears knows of the problem and ignoring it.

No Refund Given on Tires

3/1/18, I purchased tires and the installation package online through Sears.com. Paid $522.57 and scheduled an appointment for the next day on Friday 3/2/18. I get there, they don't have me scheduled to install my tires and said that I didn't pay for installation, which I had. They wanted to charge me $120+ with an extra $40 for stuff that wasn't even on my original order.

Then I asked how long it will take to install the tires, they said 2 hours...maybe longer. I asked why so long, it's just 4 tires? they said they have 3 people ahead of me and that it's really busy. I said I'm the only one here and all the bays are empty, no staff out there. Then I asked them to not do the installation and that I will come back to pick up the tires another day since it was raining outside. They said they will need to return the order since they had put additional installation fees on. I reminded them not to return the tires as I will be picking them up another day. The guy said no problem. Later that night I check my sears account, they canceled my tires, but never bothered to refund my money.

I've contacted Sears chat support 3 times since this fiasco started, two supervisors gave me their word, they would escalate the matter to deal with the rep that assisted me at the Sears tire store and the 2nd supervisor said he would have my refund processed back to my credit card within 48 hours, which was a week ago today. I have not heard from anybody on any of the escalations...if they even happened. I haven't received my refund either.

Once Sears has your money....good luck trying to get it back from them. I will be disputing the charge through my credit card company. No one should have to deal with this kind of nonsense over and over again.

Delivery people high on marijuana could smell it a mile away could not remove my dryer, which is funny because same dryer was delivered by sears eight years ago and no problem what a waste of my time

kenmore elite refrigerator

kenmore elite refrigerator is less than 2 years old. Refrigerator and freezer stopped working due to a defective compressor. I will be without a refrigerator for 2 weeks because sears repair man stated the part will take at least 9 days to be delivered. I was also informed by the repair man that this is an ongoing problem with my make and model of refrigerator, This is RIDICULOUS!!! My Refrigerator should last a lot longer than 2 years and I should not have to pay for repairs and their defective and poorly made product.!!! I have 6 kids and lost a large amount of food due to spoilage from refrig/freezer not working properly.

samsung dishwasher

Bought a samsung dishwasher from sears. It has never worked . Have had 6 service calls , still does not work . Sears will not replace or refund our money.

A gift of washer should of been a dryer improperly handled retuned

On July 28 2017 my uncle who is in the military orders me a washer online to be delivered to my new residence the first two attempts supposed we're false reported as not home I was home the third attempt I finally met with the driver when they were out side and brought him to my home I informed him there was a mistake in the order that I had a washer that it should have been the dryer instead so to be safe I kept the driver and appliance at my home I made several phone calls to people whom ultimately told me and assured me everything was ok the would return the washer and the right model dryer would be on its way feeling that I w confident that the competing employees information would stick I let the delivery driver take back the dryer several days and several phone calls over 8 more hours on phone trying to get a resolution to the issue clearly brought on by an employee of Sears to my dismay no resolution no appliance no gift now a month after case closed there I no issue but oh there is if it weren't for an employee assuring me I was ok I would of never allowed the driver to take the washer back instead I'm without my gift from my uncle witch now is over seas diployed to another country for 6 month to ayear I have no way of contacting him but Sears on the other hand has not taken responsibility for there actions and I will do everything. Media CEO whomever whatever I have to do to get the proper resolution to the issue clearly of no fault of mine but of the Sears company as a whole receive my appliance or I will take it as far as I possibly can to. Receive the gift my uncle purchased regardless the money returned to him ect it is Sears responsibility to ensure proper care is taken off the customer they did not do this and dropped the ball I am holding every person I have dealt with on the phone with Sears eesponsiable they all played there part esspecially since everyone has clearly stated Sears is 100%at fault
