I bought a Sears Kenmore Elite Refrigerator. after 5 years 5 months the compressor goes out. paid over $600 for replacement of compressor. Sears as well as LG were aware of defective compressor parts used in compressor, plastic vs metal. numerous law suits, class action suits confirmed defective compressor. i waited 2 weeks for repairman due to the fact that nobody will repair an LG refrig except SEARS repair. this is a product that should never have been sold. a normal compressor lasts 12 years. this is a fraud by Sears and LG .
