Food Loss Claim
My Kenmore refrigerator failed twice in the first 2 years resulting in a complete loss of the food. The second time it was due to a compressor that failed. Even though I have a 5 year warranty (KMM118421335V3867L0KM) it took 5 weeks to get a new compressor since Sears no longer makes the compressor and outsources the repair to a third party.My family and I had to live out of mini-frig and a cooler. I filed a food loss claim (#375560) and received a response shortly thereafter that the claim was "saved". Months passed and I finally called for a claim status only to be told that the claim was denied with no explanation. The service representative was very nice and reviewed with her supervisor who couldn't tell why the initial claim was denied and agreed to resubmit a new claim (# 402363) for me. I called My Sears again for a claim status was told the the second claim was denied because the initial claim was denied because it exceeded the 30 day time frame. I explained that I received a claim "saved" email from Sears but the Manager of Protection Agreements (Anna) claimed that the initial claim had not been "processed" in the required time frame so Sears would not reconsider. I would like some to call me (973-518-4104) to discuss this matter further.

Sears home warranty
Sears home warranty is a joke. I have been 2 weeks without a clothes dryer. They sent repairman 4 days after first being notified . In 15 minutes he told me it was a computer board, and left. Now 5 more days later no one can answer when part the part will be in. A local repair company says they can get the part in one day. Save your money. You get nothing for your money but misery and frustration.

I need to have someone call me regarding the warranty misrepresentation on contract number 855-256-2467 FL my number is 401-524-0400 My name is leonard guglielmino It's unfair how I have to do this, I did a complete explanation and did not know I had to register first and do not know if my last email went thru.

I purchased a Sears Home Warranty on or about 7/18/2017. The representative who sold me the warranty told me If any covered item in the warranty was to break down they would send a service person within 24 hours to address the problem. about two weeks ago we came home from being out all day to find our Air Conditioner had stopped working and the temperature in the house was higher than it should be. I called Sears number I was supplied with and the person on the other end said he would report it to the service people to have someone come out and that would be within 24 hours. He also gave me the company name and number and I also called and left a message because no one answered. The next day when no one called within 24 hours I had no choice but to call a local company because it was almost 100 degrees in the house and we could not wait any longer. The company I called came out within one half hour of my call and fixed the problem by replacing the fan motor at a cost of $450.00. I want Sears to honor what was represented to me by forgiving any balance on my so called warranty. I want to be contacted to talk to someone regarding this and I feel that the representative who sold me this policy, misrepresented. MY CONTRACT # IS 855-256-2467 FL, ACCOUNT # 5121079686286128. This was an Emergency and needed to be addressed immediately. I subsequently heard from the company that was called for service three days later. I will not pay the balance, you can take me to court, this should not be how Sears operates. If this is not resolved I will never do business with Sears again.
