I took fmla from my job to have a hysterectomy plain and simple. Then 3weeks feeling great . Woke up one morning could hardly move my back was on fire my right leg had shooting pains. I thought maybe it was a healing process but only got worse never had this kind of pain (jumping ahead) I have only had 2Drs since around 2000 the one who done the surgery whom i had only had one visit with then surgegry.And my pc who i had only been two couple times. Dont do drs because i dont get sick. Surgery in Jan.2016 filed short term claim in middle of Feb.for myback was told by Dr.hada herniated disc which i have never had prior back trouble but as a cna. I do lifting and have had neck trouble. Got in touch with Sedgewick explained why i was off work she denied me right on. The phone really for the hysterectomy huh i said she had me so twisted on top of nothing for pain cuz i go to a clinic Jyst muscle relaxers icoukd not take.I alteady knew. My surgery would not be covered never filed for it i called back next day and said listen some how you misunderstood me its not about the surgery its my back. Her response was O you want to file a claim about your back .Yes i said ok she said let me get started 2months later after many faxes and phone calls snd my HR rep at work calling they responded with denied claim due to preexsiting condition..what nothing not one word about my back in the denial how did they do that and why was myback not mentioned the wording in the letter just kept repeating itself.Got in touch with couple attorneys who seemed intetested but never got back in contact with me. Can any one make a suggestion deny me cuz preexsting i never had back issues have been back at work 2 wks working 2on 2off and my back stays burning my leg bottom of my feet.How can they use my hysterectomy that i never filed for to say my back was caused by it and never type the word back in my denial. Its the principal pay them money every paycheck for what?
